Well I did my best to try and sample as much food as possible at Sherwood on opening weekend without busting the laces on my bodice lol. :D
So far my favorites are:
Brocolli Cheese Soup in a Bread Bowl
Caesar Salad (Thank goodness for the salad!)
Dragon Claws (I think that is what they are called.. chicken breast wrapped with bacon...drool)
Next visit I am going to pig out...errr I mean sample more lol.
What are your favorites?
Der Apfelstrudel (apple strudel) war gut! I liked the bratwurst on a stick, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Como's! Nim had one of the soups in the bread bowl, but I don't recall which one.
The shepherd's pie was very good and the Scotch egg too
Mead is a food ain't it?
I also enjoyed the delicious Bass...
OMG PIZZA... *drool*
though the ogres toes (bacon filling wrapped in sausage wrapped in bacon) are made of awesome
and the sampler plate at the Jerusalem cafe is DEEEEELISH!
Spinach Ancini
Calamari
Pasta con aglio pesto crema
Hummus
Can you tell we spent some time at Comos Italiano?
The hummus was great! The falaffels (sp?) were so yummy! There's also the portabello mushroom tops... oh how yummy, indeed.
The ogre toes are a little slice of heaven mixed with a hint of heart attack
Bacon wrapped in sausage wrapped in bacon... that just can't be bad
The first one I had this year was undercooked but I will try again for sure because the ones I had last year were amazing
*if they figured out how to work rum into it I wouldn't eat anything else ever*
The steaks on a stick are really good too. But there is a while to wait it to cook. Love Como's aranchini (sp?)

rum-based BBQ sauce... just sayin...
To Teach,
We, your humble servants at BrouHaHa, apologize to the undercooked Ogre Toe. I am breaking in an apprentice(nephew). I have worked out all the kinks with him (he is fully broken, which is a requirement for full employment at the booth) and food is up to par once again. Thank you for your patronage. As to the rum based BBQ sauce; I cannot say we have that particular brew contained in our sauce, but we do have a new BBQ sauce that is good enough to drink according to those who have partaken of the magical potion. And since rum is one of my favorite vegetables I am open to experimentation.
BrouHaHa

Oh you tease! WHAT?!
Now I know where to go on Saturday morning...
The Pizza's they are the best!
Yes, the Pizza is wonderful crunchy goodness!
Starting my mental list of yummy things to sample next trip!
Wow, all this food sounds great. Looking forward to my first trip even more now.
The chocolate brownies from the Golden Conquistidor. ;D
I thought that maybe a little incentive would go a long way so I have decided to give any R/F member 50 cents off every item ordered if they show their pin or tell us they saw this post. Come see us.
Wow... bacon, wrapped in sausage... wrapped in BACON?!? Sounding like my favorite way to die, right there!!! I soooo have to try this at home, since we don't get to make it down there this year... again. :'(
I definitely have to spend more time eating...all of this sounds really good! Ogre Toes...I'd better take a bottle of Lipitor before trying one of those, but next time down, I will try one!

Now that there is awesome - Way to support the patrons (o:
BrouHaHa is definitely one of our favorites.
I also had the chance to try the burrito at the Golden Conquistador - Definitely worth the coinage
One new item that has been approved and will be available this weekend is:
The Sorcerer's Surprise
This is what happens when when pickles get caught between the thighs.(HaHa)
Chicken, Pickle and Onion on a skewer, seasoned with secret spices, dipped in tempura batter and deep fried, removed long enough to wrap it in bacon and refried for deliciousness. I'm partial but it is incredible. You get your fried chicken, fried pickles and onion rings all at once and made to order to be hot, fresh and crispy. Mmmmm Mmmmm Mmmmmmmmmmmm!
BrouHaHa
Love the stuff at Como's but they are over priced to say the least. I think $13.00 dollars for a few pieces of pasta and a dab of alfredo sauce is a bit much.

No, it wasn't cheap for faire food by any means, but I didn't think the price was out of line for the quality of the meal Nim and I had. At least in my neck of the woods, the tab would have been considered reasonable. It was much more upscale than I ever expected to see at a faire, that's for sure. Since neither of us had just the pasta and alfredo, I can't judge the value of that dish.
A wizard friend treated me to lunch at Comos upstairs! Wow! It was a real treat. I had the chicken Picatta, We split a salad and tiramisu! I enjoyed every bite! Huzzah to sit down dinner at faire!
I hope to try a few more things at faire- but on quite a budget- alas. It all looks yummy! I think the food at Sherwood Rocks!

I believe you have just made some new best friends lol! :D
All the "toes" at Brouhaha, nachos at Conquistador, of course Comos everything! We love the food!
Ye speak, and we listen.
A new sauce will be available this weekend.
Kiss of the Dragon: Mango-Habanero RUM Sauce. A sweet and hot sauce for Pirates and other Faire Folk.
BrouHaHa
I will totally be there!
*Habanero and Rum! I will be in Heaven!*
