It is a sad day for Dr. who fans. She will be missed. :(
Very sad day for me, :'(
I've been a die hard Doctor Who fan since the John Pertwee era almost 40 years ago, and Sarah Jane has always been my favorite companion. I had the pleasure to meet the late Mr.Pertwee in the early 80's, and the one of the things we talked about was how much everyone that worked with her loved Elisabeth Sladen, just as much as her fans.
Much sadness. :(
:(
Some lovely tributes to her from Tom Baker (http://www.tom-baker.co.uk/pages/content/index.asp?PageID=159 (http://www.tom-baker.co.uk/pages/content/index.asp?PageID=159)) and the BBC (http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressreleases/stories/2011/04_april/20/sladen.shtml).
Sad I thought she was favorite companion and the companion of my two favorite doctors.
