From the source himself, Dante will NOT be back as CaptJack. Does this mean CaptJack is back as Jack?
Any others?

You may have to cut and paste it.
It appears that Hey Nunnie, Nunnie aren't there this year. I thought I saw them on the schedule last year. They only made one appearance last year at Scarby, and none this year. Was kind of hoping to see them... ah, well...
Who are the "do not miss" acts this year at CoRF?
Sad face! :( I love Nunnie Nunnie!
I love those ladies too. Wish they were coming back. They may be yet, I haven't heard anything, but you never know.
Looks like there will be a lot of new blood this season, and some familiar faces may not be around. But we'll wait and see. I don't really have any particular knowledge of the "lineup," as it were. No more than anyone else, in any case.
If I'm not mistaken, the slideshow on the main website has been updated and may be helpful with these rumors. Maybe.
I can tell you that widget will not be on cast at CORF, tho he will be there as a playtron along with the Colorado Faeries opening weekend and several more times throughout the season.
But good news, Widget will be guest cast at OKRF labor day weekend!
What I know:
1. Hey Nunnie Nunnie will not be at Colorado at all this season, by their choice. The Baroness and I spoke with them in Arizona in February, and it was their decision to "widen their horizons" by appearing at Festivals they have not done heretofore. The Baroness and I are truly saddened by their decision since they are our favorite stage act, bar none.
2. I have the same impression as CapnJack: There will be a lot of new faces on cast this year, and some very familiar ones may be absent. None of us will know for certain before opening day!
3. I'm sorry you weren't picked up, Widget. But, having been on both sides of the fence now, I can tell you unequivocally that playtronage has its advantages.
4. Must-see acts? Depends upon what you like, of course. Having said that, my favorites are: Puke and Snot, Cast In Bronze, and the Washing Well Wenches.
Arsene is another must-see, assuming he'll be back this year.
Oh yay I get to contribute! I'm a total lurker around these parts but I will of course add my two cents in when they are actually of value ;)
In this case my two cents are comprised of these tidbits:
1) Arsene will indeed be back this year (I'm one of his assistants so you can pretty much trust me on that one)
2) Yes, it's true, his show is great so come see it (and subsequently me)!
3) According to the entertainment page on the website, Johnny Fox the great sword swallower and famed ren performer will be at CoRF this year! He and Arsene are old buddies and I've heard through the magician's assistant grapevine that the two may team up for a show or two this year. I am so excited to see what this may bring!
Can't wait for opening, 1 month and 1 day people!
We had the extreme pleasure of seeing Arsene for the first time this year at Scarby. Were you with him there, Kathleen? We will see him at CoRF.

Then apparently a jaguar (leopard?) was hired this year. I'm looking forward to meeting him/her! ;D
*waving excitedly* Hello Fireflicker! Trish and I look forward to seeing you 4th of July weekend!!

Ooh, a big cats show! That should be FUN!!!
Also, don't forget to see Celtic Legacy, they put on a great show!
Another rumour that's floating around has something to do with Zoë and a credit card?!? ;)
Merlin you should see Zoe's list on staring at her cleavage when ordering your drink.
Is this a "how to" list or a list of repercussions?
That wasn't me you saw in scarby as I only work the colorado faire with him (something about being in college the rest of the year ;) ) but I've heard a rumor that the other assistant and I are his favorites so... :-*
Well, then, I'll have something to compare you with... I believe he said that his assistant at Scarby was a student at UT Austin, but then, I'm always hearing things...
(whispers in merlins ear) Give me the jack danials.

He said he was always hearing things... he didn't say anything at all about paying attention. :P :D

Its a chance to hone my character some more, what i'm considering is auditioning at every audition till they cast me lol! but i am looking forward to guest casting at the oklahoma ren faire!
Haha, nobody's saying it CAN'T be ;P
Anyway, the Baron is right, playtronage definitely does have it's advantages, Widget. Still, I'm sorry you weren't cast. But that's the spirit, mate! Keep trying!
And seriously, what's with the leopard? :D It almost looks like they forgot to take out a stock image from the slideshow template, haha. Maybe we really will have a big cats show? That'd be pretty sweet!
And it's good to know you two ladies will be back as Arsene's assistants :)
Correction to myself: we ARE having a big cats show! :o
It would've helped if I had checked the "Entertainment" page, heh.
Rumor: sometime this season a big pink hairy will be showing up at faire
Rumor has it that 2 visiting nobles won't be there as much

Sadly noted.
According to the website, The Great Cats World Park/Center for Endangered Cats are bringing the Majestic Royal Cats. For those of you folks who have been around for a while (a long while) you may remember many many many years ago there was a cat show on the center stage. This is the same group. Whether Craig and Katrina are still running things or not, I cant say. But it was a hell of a show and if things haven't changed, is well worth watching.
Crossing my fingers that they bring Taboo, Jetta, and Chico with them.
I'm pretty psyched about the show. I definitely never saw it before, but it looks like it will be a blast. I wonder if they're doing it on the Rose, or a different stage.
Obviously I'm just guessing here, but the Rose is the most likely stage. Unless there is another one with lots of back stage room. You cant exactly keep a full grown Siberian snow leopard in a dog kennel. However, I somehow dont see the cat show and Celtic Legacy on the same stage. Big Cats and Loud Drums do not a pleasant combination make. We'll have to wait and see.

Haha. I would dig up the list if I were coming back this year....
Actually, rumor has it that the big cats will start their act on stage sleeping peacefully, until Celtic Legacy comes out and begins playing "In the Jungle" (the mighty jungle the lion sleeps tonight), at which point the lions, snow leopards, etc. will become quite enraged and lash out at the members of Celtic Legacy. Of course you know how Celtic Legacy will protect themselves! No, not with bagpipes. They will retaliate with their amazing Fire Show, spitting flames at the big cats. It's sure to be a site to be seen! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Not fact, or even reality, but I would like to spread a rumor based on a dream I had...
At joust (well, of course) and the young prince was jousting under the name Gauntlet.
New prop this year - giant oak tree. Into which Sir William flew after the show - oddly enough, dressed as Boba Fett...
Also new, a glass topped building where the Corporate Gardens are. It looked amazing. And was full of food...and several romanceteers in ball gowns...The dream got weird after that.
So....I am so starting the rumor that Sir William is Boba Fett in disguise!
Argh. One more week. Must not count hours...must not count hours.

You could be closer to the truth that you realize - there was indeed an Imperial presence at faire - I spotted a Storm Trooper... wearing a kilt!
