Title: Worst thing your FRIENDS would say about you?
Post by: Mairte on May 12, 2011, 08:19:09 PM
I was talking to one of my oldest friends today, have known her since junior high. Our conversation got me thinking. What would your TRUE friends say is the worst thing about you? You know, during a HONEST talk and no fear of reprisals or hurting your feelings?
We were discussing it. She said when she first was getting to know me, she thought I took nothing seriously because I was teasing/joking around so much. But slowly realized I only tease people I like. Ice cold or ignore the ones I do not.
She also said I flirt without really realizing it? I dont think I do but maybe it seems that way from HER side of things.
The last thing she said was I was entirely too stubborn!  ;D

Do you mean the worst they could say about me, or the worst thing about me?

That I'm an opinionated, insufferable b!tch. But, if you stay away from politics and religion, I'm a helluva nice wizard!

I'm the same way about Politics and religion. Raised not to speak of them at the dinner table, and I get really annoyed now that with Facebook and forums, etc. that such a general rule of thumb has virtually disappeared.

My friends would probably say I'm too nice, but I do have a side that no one likes to see actually come out but my niceness is my weakness. I'm stubborn and set, and yet rather rambunctious so nothing is really ever calm around me (and if it is, there's something wrong.) And the worst thing? Probably that I have a song for everything and sing randomly.

My friends would say that sometimes I lack tact. And they're not wrong-- I just think it's easier to correct your problems if someone bothers to point them out to you, that's all. And maybe I'm a tad more liberal than most, so when people say something that borders on ignorant or close-minded, I don't really have a problem pointing it out to them.

This could be a really long list lol. Best put I am like a shot of bad whiskey If it is on my mind I say it straight up and with no chaser. They would say I am stubborn which I beg to differ as I am just set in my ways. Goal orientated once I decide to do something I am like a charging bull and have no problem leaving collateral damage in my path but I do try to rectify any wrongs as a result of this mad charge but until that point I may offend and keep going. If you do not know how to approach me I may blow off a really great idea. I will humbly admit to being guilty as charged plus some well not stubborn as I am just set in my ways.
