Luscious hollywood costumes.  The Tudors and Pirates of the Carribean.  Then I go hunt period portraits.  Visit the fabric store and listen for fabrics that call out my name ...

We visited the Minneapolis Institute of Art in late July. Mostly to show our 10 year old granddaughter, but I really enjoyed viewing the actual paintings that were made from the 1100s to the 1500s, the Tudor Room and the huge tapestry. The armor and swords were also of interest.

Period portraits (or even not period artwork), movie costumes, fashion plates (for 18th c and later), other peoples' finished projects. Or basically, anything I can find by scouring the internet.
