Okay, it's Thursday evening and no improvement on the fire hazards onsite. Here are the rules:
No on firepits, campfires, tiki torches, charcoal grills, Coleman fuel (white gas) lanterns or stoves.
Yes on propane fueled stoves, lanterns, and heaters (hmm, who needs those?).
You must have a fire extinguisher stationed nearby (visible so we don't have to ask). If you have a propane grill going, someone must be watching it.
No cigarettes/cigars/pipes/etc dropped/tapped out on the ground, e.g., put them out in containers. We will not have designated smoking areas.
In the faire area, we have barrels with sand and small buckets for butts. Suggest same for the campgrounds groups.
In camping (Patron and Participants), if you are running a generator, clear out all the ground debris in the area. Some commercial (rock-crusher) generators don't have spark mitigation devices.
Folks are asked to help out. If you see someone dropping a butt, ask them gently to pick it up and deposit properly. If it turns hostile, there more than enough folks around who will provide corrective action. Remember above all else, the customer is always right, unless they are wrong.
If in question, just ask yourself, "will this cause a fire?"
