Huzzah!  You wouldn't believe how many Depends I'm going through, I'm so excited!!

I'm casting spells like crazy to make good weather for the weekend. I've already gone through a box of newts!  :P

Merlin, what you call good weather and what I call good weather are two vastly different things.  I am most comfortable with temperatures in the high 70s to 80s, starting to get a bit warm at 95.    8)

Since I will be at Sherwood many times this season, for this weekend I shall defer to your needs.  I can always layer on several cloaks.

I am casting for very cool weather both Saturday and Sunday mornings, lasting well into afternoon, with no rain showers or other precipitation at all from Friday afternoon through Monday morning.  Perhaps overcast until afternoon teatime; a gentle to brisk wind would be a nice touch, too. ;)

Hopefully you will not be forced to remove robes and go about in shirtsleeves for much of each day. ;D

Trust me...you don't want me to take off my clothes...

The way I look at it, you can always legally put on enough clothes to be warm, but you can't legally take off enough to stay cool...

I am also working on good weather spells- for the whole run of Sherwood. Big job!  The weather must be perfect!

My information indicates that opening weekend will be great! I used up most of my toads on this one!

That's ok, Merlin. We have enough weather wizards hanging around, they can carry the load.

hope it wasn't the houston toad you used in those incantations, venerable one.

Nah... I used the local ones up here in Arkansas. We've got so dang many of them folks have a festival every year in the town where I work called Toad Suck Daze...that's the festival name, not the town.  We had an actual Toad Suck ferry up there until a few years ago. Funny thing is, nobody knows what the hell a toad suck is...

For all the weather spelling I've been doing, there might be a shortage of entries in the toad races this year...

I wonder if the Houston Toad is really endangered. Having been to Houston on numerous occasions, I'm figuring they may have just packed up and moved to Austin, or maybe recruited by TCU. It's hard to say...

Houston Toads all packed up & moved to Bastrop years ago. Unfortunately their new home was right in the middle of the Bastrop burn area. Don't think they have finished a survivor count yet.

ANGUS! Since MacKee crapped out for the weekend, I'll buy you that ale that MacKee was supposed to buy me...or maybe I'll have some of that apple stuff I brought last year to Scarby...  :)

Merlin, do you suppose Angus will be willing to enter our circle of ale?  ;) We definitely need a 3rd...or 4th and 5th even. Be careful with the 5th tho, you might move into JD mode...

[Bonus points if that actually made sense to anyone but me!]

I understood every word...as long as the words were kept separate from each other.

I dunno that Angus can keep up with us.  :o

This was our first time at Sherwood and I must say I (we) were very impressed. Could not believe
how much the grounds were built up. Looks like there is good planning on someones part.
