Keep us posted as to when, and perhaps we could join for an invasion.

The best bang for the buck is, without question, President's Day weekend since the Festival is open for three days.  That is when the Baroness and I usually attend.

Okay...gotta ask... What is the weather like typically for that weekend? I don't do heat very well, and Arizona just "sounds" hot to me...

Toki and I went March 3 - 4 and on Saturday the temsp where 71 with a nice breeze all day long. On sunday they where 80 again with a nice breeze. They think it is Hot... PHEWIE. I'll take their Faire hot to CoRF hot any day... well at least the days we where there and they thought it was hot.

This past Presidents' Day Weekend was, if memory serves, the sixth or seventh visit to ARF for the Baroness and myself.  Although there have been a couple of outliers, the typical weather is clear skies with temperatures in the high sixties to low seventies.  There has been rain only one of those years on that weekend.

Thanks, both! 60-70s sounds really good to me!  I was able to take CoRF at RenDezvous weekend, but had to lose my robe in the afternoons. I did enjoy the low humidity, though! Arkansas doesn't know what that means...

People get used to their temperatures, Lady de Laney. I was in Ft Lauderdale on business one year. Everyone was running around in sweaters and acting like they were freezing to death! I guess I looked funny in shorts and tee-shirt on the beach that night when the temperature plummeted to 68°.

I had a co-worker in the 80's go to Phoenix on a delivery run. It was snowing and cold as hell here and in Phoenix it was 55' Every one in Phoenix was wear parka's he said and he was in shorts and t-shirt. I worked with guys from Chicago and in the dead of winter they wore t-shirts and shorts, so yeah know what you mean.

Then again, that's why they hold their faire in Feb-March and not June-July. I would definitely take our heat over theirs at that time of year.
