It looks like it will be about the same weatherwise as it was for the first weekend. But everyone should be past the opening weekend's mad rush.
We will be there Saturday, wouldn't miss the special occasion.
Will be there Sunday
I'll be there both days. Need to pick up a couple more sets of arrows and starting buying garb. Maybe i'll actually venture into the FOF areas this time :)

Yeah. We'll be celebrating the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. It should be quite a party.

Just as long as we don't get
near as wet as the victims of the
Titanic! You better work on your "cool dry" weather spell this week ;)
We will be there both days. Hotelling it this coming weekend too!

Sunday is Sidekick's birthday too. I do like to tease him that between tax day and the Titanic, he's got a memorable birthday!
I'll be there all weekend, working in the shoppe, so c'mon by and see me at booth 108...

For the map impaired, where is 108 (or who is it?) :)
I'll be there! :)
Scally and I will both be there, and we're very much looking forward to spending time with a certain cantankerous wizard and his ever gracious Lady, and to seeing all of you, as well! We haven't managed to make it down to Scarby since RENdezvous, and we've missed it sorely! We'll be spending Friday night with my cousin in Denton, and following her and her husband down early Saturday morning, since they have a new shop this season! Handmade books, if anyone is searching for such things...
Very, VERY excited... and practically bouncing with anticipation!!! Will we be tailgating, by any chance?
Sunday is when the cool kids show up

That's Majikah Perfumery, over next to the White Horse. Pan, Tink's husband, works there, too.
I got to see Raevyn last week! I almost didn't recognize her with her hair all up in a crown.
Second weekend promises to be a good one; we'll be there both days.
Merlin, come hell or high water, I WILL see you this weekend, because I have to give you both huuuuuuge hugs. :)
Me and boss wench will be Saturday. We hardly got out of Holly Field last weekend. Plus it's beer tasting! ;D
Us 2 'Northerners' will be there - our squire unfortunately has to stay home - school tests :-[ Along with 2 from even farther north.
Been looking forward to this trip for almost a year and wouldn't miss the big milestone (Merlin and Nimue) (and your birthday, Sidekick :) )

Knowing me, it will most likely be hell, Elo, although there is a chance of high water. Sorry I missed meeting your mom! You might consider her lucky...very likely I would have scared her away from returning... ::)

Merlin, we are actually staying Friday night also at the Hampton. What time are you getting in? We should be there mid afternoon or so.
Lord Dragon and I plan on arriving at the Hampton Friday, around mid-day Traffic permitting. Maybe we can all meet up for supper or something. Just let us know.
Check in is about 3, and we should be there right about that time, possibly earlier.
I had hoped to already have tickets to distribute for those staying with us at the Hampton, but didn't get that put together, so be aware that for those of you on the ticket list, you will need to pick them up at the box office Saturday morning. ID will be required by the Scarby staff.
We will be tailgating from about 8:30! I'm getting the jitters... ::)
UPDATE: I SHOULD HAVE tickets for the Hampton group...
The PP, fuzzlet and I are looking forward to this weekend. I finished up her fairy outfit, but need to finish her bonnet. Depending on how warm or cool will depend on what outfit she will be wearing. :)

I wonder if I'll still be standing by 1 pm on Saturday...
Not a beer or ale drinker, myself, but I do enjoy cider. Now, if they were having a cider sampling, I might just be tempted to get in a bit of trouble! :D
1pm -3pm, Hey I can sit and still get to the iris & rose train wreck after the drinking binge
Keep in mind that we'll have a keg of Scottish ale to knock back at the reception... :P
should be fun.

I might need a countdown for this! in 43 hours and 15 minutes I HOPE we are pulling up to the hotel!!
Sooooo
Where is the party/Gathering for dinner Friday Night???
the college street Pub?
any gatherings????
we will be in about 2-4 pm
I don't think the College Street Pub is big enough! This crowd is growing! I'll see if I can figure out an approximate head-count... there's about 20 of us at the Hampton alone (not all R/Fers). I guess I'd better get something thrown together... The Don & Dona might want to join us, too...
Maybe plan something for about 7ish? Most everyone should be there by that time, I think.
I'd help, but I don't know the area. We'll be pulling in around the same time you do. Let me know if you need some help with anything. I'm bringing both my camera and Video camera with a tri-pod. I hope someone might be able to run it for us all.
Lady G, that's assuming anyone is planning on staying sober enough for you to let them near your equipment!!! :o :D

just name the place it could even be the pool side at the hotel
I don't think we can make it.....I'll be working too late. :(
If you're looking for somewhere for dinner with drinks available, I'll toss Ta Molly's out there... They've got plenty of space, as I recall their bar may be more limited than say Chili's, but it's a decent little TexMex place that my friends who live in Waxahachie recommended to me. College St Pub did NOT impress me when I was there, and it does indeed get crowded VERY quickly.

We liked the pub the
first time we went there, but it was earlier in the evening. The next time, when we took some friends, it was a disaster. We waited 20+ minutes just to get a waitress—actually, just to get acknowledged that we were even sitting there—then waited over an hour and got the wrong stuff. Totally not conducive to wanting to return.
Campuzano's has always been good...ate there last Friday, as a matter of fact. TaMolly's is right before you get to Campuzano's, as I recall. Looking over the menu, it's a little more moderately priced.
How does TaMolly's sound to everyone? I may save the drinking part until we get back to the hotel...we can take over the Hampton!
Damn! We'll be there in 24 hours!
Doña, don't worry...we'll save some party for the rest of the weekend...

But will you be conscious... THAT is the question to be answered!!! :P
Conscious of what? Isn't that a more important question? Is this the answer the question with a question thread?
That thread annoys me, so I hope not! And... conscious of the fact that your hangover is probably going to be a great deal worse than MINE! :P Well, Saturday morning, anyway... Sunday morning might just be a toss-up! ;D
I'll have you know that the last hangover I had was probably over 40 years ago. When I switched to Jack Daniel's, I quit having hangovers...seriously...
You just got to stay at least one step ahead of the hangover.
From the sound of things, though, that's not going to be the drink on tap this weekend... In fact, it sounds a bit like there will be some mixing going on! :o
We arrived a day early. Dragon thought to drive about 5 hours and then stop for the night, but when GlaDOS (our Garmin) told us we were only 90 minutes away at the point we said, what the heck, had some supper and continued on. Of course in true GlaDOS style, when we needed her most, she spaced out on us. But we managed to get here in spite of her problems. Tomorrow he gets to rest and we'll be ready to meet you all here when you arrive.
Drive careful everyone. Let's have a safe, Second weekend at the Faire.
Glad to hear you made it to town. We'll be seeing you Saturday morning.
