For those who have not yet heard, Rhonda Eudaly Simpson and I will be having a book signing all weekend at the Stardrake Books booth on Taylor Lane (around the corner from Whimsy Stage, right next to the kettle corn folks)! Stop by and pick up some fun fiction! Get it signed by the authors! I will be there selling the book "I Should Have Stayed In Oz" and Rhonda will be selling an assortment of her works including several of the Redheads of the Apocalypse works. Rhonda and I both have short stories in the Oz book.
Come on by! Bring your friends! Bring total strangers!!!
If you aren't going to be there this weekend, Captain (the owner of Stardrake) has been kind enough to carry some of our works in his shop all season, so there may be some in there after this signing if we have any stock left. :)
Support your local authors, support an independent publishing house (Yard Dog Press), and get some fun reading out of it at the same time. And even if you don't want an excellent book, stop by and say hi!
Thanks, everyone!
How much are the books? I want to be sure and bring enough cash so I can get one :)
Cover price runs at around $14, though sometimes we'll give a discount when we're doing a signing. I haven't confirmed with my partner in crime about that yet, though, so assume $14 for now. :)
Dang...won't be down again until Memorial Day weekend. I want one of those! I meant to get one when you first told me about it, Lys, and then I completely forgot about it. I went and looked at the publisher's website—they're here in Arkansas—and found several books of interest.
You've got just a FEW friends around here Merlin, I feel certain someone could help you out.
I would personally volunteer but my attendance this coming weekend is unknown...in fact I may need a helper too!
Lys, sweetie...honey...punkin'...would you be so sweet as to put back a copy for me? ...and Kett, too? I'll pay for hers as a wedding renewal gift, but don't tell her. It's a surprise.

I can probably be convinced to put two copies back for you. For a price.

Thank you very much to those who stopped by today to pick up a book (or more than one book!) or to offer your encouragement and support. It means a lot to me!
For those who didn't get a chance today, I hope to see you tomorrow! We're at Stardrake Books, right next to the kettle corn on Taylor Lane! :)
