Greetings and well-met!!!
Sherwood's next Gathering is right around the corner. Plan on joining us for a time of summer fun.
June 29th--camp grounds will open at 2pm that Friday. We expect there may be some gypsies entertaining us around 11pm that night at the Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem Pub. BYOB. Though Brian usually provides us with a wee sip of ale, as well.
June 30th--Saturday morning volunteer work day. This will center around getting the grounds ready for the follwoing weekend when we have our very first youth summer camp. Some 35+ kids will be camping for a week at Sherwood learning crafts from some of our very own artisans.
After the work session, we will gather at the pub around 6pm for a pot-luck/cover dish. Every one bring something delightful to eat and share. We usually have lots of food.
Hopefully, Zane will round us up some music to entertain us at the pub after we eat.
Around 10pm, we will wonder down to the Seven Sisters for a fire, drumming, dance and fire spinning. We had no fire spinning last gathering and it was sorely missed.
As always, water, soft drinks and ale will be provided.
These Gatherings are for the entire family. Keep that in mind when planning your invite lists thru email, facebook, etc.
Bring your best to the fire circle.
Let's get a huge crowd out to celebrate.
remember, Volunteering is NOT A PREREQUISIT to attend. Come simply for the comradre.
Had I known about this before making other plans I would have come there for my b-day! :-\ :'(
bring your birthday crowd to sherwood.
