Title: What is the Food Book?
Post by: 3boysmom on August 15, 2012, 01:22:01 PM
Just wondering if someone could explain the Food Book to me? I can purchase one at a discounted price through work, but I have no idea what it is or how it works. Would it be beneficial for a family of 5?

It could save you a little money especially since you can get it at a discount, but one won't go very far for a family especially if you spend all day out there. You can use them to buy food or non-alcoholic drinks in lieux of cash, but you usually end up with one or two at the end of the day unless you combine them with some cash.

They are best used at the festival-owned food booths. The handful of remaining independent food booths don't get reimbursed full value for the ones that take in.

Where my husband once worked for over 10 years, sells the Food Books and Tickets. So we will be ready for Opening Day.

Can't wait!
