This will have to go on the calendar of must attend events.  It will be great to see my Pirate friends a week earlier than usual!

Sorry no group rate for rooms as they want money down on a block of 10 and if we don't fill the rooms I'll be eating the cost. There are many places to stay in the area and the Pirate Lords will update them on their web site soon.

Thanks no, I can't attend, but I wanted to bring something to your attention.

A tiny town near me is having, what they are calling, a Pirate Festival.

I'm dressing up and going to see what it is. Even if I just buy myself some shiny and a corn dog, it will be worth it. Not to mention the attention from unsuspecting patrons.

A great second year Festival, better than the first. A thank you for all who attended. We hope to have another next year and could use some more support. All the kids that came had the time of there lives with free booty, treasure hunting, sword fights in the street, pirate trivia , story telling, music, dancers, shops and pirates everywhere. The adults in Muskegan love it too. Now on to MiRF.

You must come next year and we'll put you up at the Lyon Inn. :)

Hmm...I could swear I posted yesterday morning about how much fun we had and how nice it is to have events on the west side of the state but it seems to have disappeared into cyberspace.

Carl and Donna,

Thanks for the pics, now I'm really bummed we couldn't make it.  The Dutchman, Grey Beard, Admiral Morgan were all there and we missed them, pooey!  Oh well, only 4 days to MiRF, I'm sure I'll see them there.
