The sign-up deadline will be Monday, November 19th.  That way you can utilize the Thanksgiving holiday sales!

RULES:
Please post the responses to the questionnaire here on the forum (and if you can think of anything else that would be helpful, please do add it!  We can never know TOO much...well, wait, I suppose we actually could...but you know what I mean  ;)).  Then please pm me your forum name, real name, and mailing address.  You must pm me to be included in the exchange.

After I receive information for all participants I will make a random match list.  Each person will receive a name and provide a gift(s) based on the questionnaire.  If you DO NOT wish to be matched with a spouse, the person you had last year, etc. please let me know in your pm.

Deadline to mail gifts out will be December 12.  That is a Wednesday, so that people should have them in hand before whichever holiday they choose to celebrate.  Don't feel like you need to spend a small fortune!  As always, the minimum price is a stamp and an envelope.  In the past, people have received books, faire accessories, faire favors, CDs, DVDs, calendars, all kinds of beautiful hand made items...be creative!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE (I cannot say please enough on this one!!!), if you think there is a chance that you will not be able to afford to do this, do NOT sign up!  It is not fair to the person who is waiting for a gift to have their secret gift fairy back out at the last minute.  I *do* understand that sometimes unexpected situations happen after you have signed up...if that is the case, just let me know ASAP, and I will get your person rematched.  But if you are expecting to be a little short on dough this year, please do not sign up!

And as always have fun!!!  ;D

:( 'Tis not been a good week for me getting to the UPS store to get my package mailed. Now Iowa has a lovely blizzard. It looks like Friday will have to be the day.  :-[ I'm truly sorry that I didn't get it mailed sooner. I hope you will think it was worth the wait when you get it.

Winchime, thank you for such lovely gifts. The hot chocolate is delicious, the chocolates were wonderful, I'm looking forward to having a cup of the tea you sent, and the jewelry box, the necklace, bracelet, and earrings are beautiful. I can't wait to wear them.

Again, thank you so much.

Thanks to Kimberly I now have more excuses for projects to make!!  Yay!!  And a wonderful cloth paisley wallet and yummy recipe cards.  Thank you!
I'm glad you liked them.  You can never have too much muslin, and all of the recipes have been tested by me.

dbaldock I got the packages this past weekend.  Thank you (and Rani) for the pin/brooch.  It is beautiful.  And the CDs made me happy, especially the Owain Phyfe benefit one.  The card was pretty as well.  Thanks again!

You're Welcome!

It's good to know everything arrived safely.  Rani creates really nice jewelry - that's why I like to comission for her to make gifts to give.  And Auryn makes some cool custom Steampunk cards.

Take Care,
David Baldock

I love making jewelry and this is one of my creations that I do that is what I call a combo set because it can be used at faire or for everyday. I never make 2 of the same pieces unless I use different colors of beads so everyone of the are ones of a kind. :-)

Lady Everclear, I LOVE what you sent me!  Especially the cd's! The framed picture goes perfectly in my room, and it is quite appropriate at the moment.  And you MUST have made that necklace yourself, I will wear it proudly and I just love the design!  Thank you again!

Celtic Lady,
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I received my package last Tuesday and I was so excited! I love everything in it. The coffee mug is just the right size, all the snacks look so yummy (I've been saving them for the right time, like when I NEED chocolate), the Christmas blend coffee is one of my favorites (I've already started grinding it), the candles smell so good (did you make them?) and I love, love, love the Tartanic cd (my son and I listened to it on the way to my daughter's house last weekend). Yes, it was absolutely worth the wait. You really made my day. As soon as I figure out this confounded picture loading thing I'll send you a picture of it all together.
Thank you, everything is lovely.

Evie, I'm so glad you loved it.  :)
I have to tell you I purchased the CD the year before Tartanic decided to take a break from MiRF. I never listened to it for some reason... guess somehow I knew I purchased it for someone else.  ;)
Yes we (husband and I) made them. We've been trying to start a candle business. So if you're ever interested don't hesitate to let me know... I can send you a list of scents, sizes, and prices. We're transitioning to soy wax from the parafin wax so there will be a sale on the parafin candles.
Did the kitties get there presents, too? My husband took them to the UPS Store while I was on my lunch break... there was one right next to the Quiznos where we were having lunch. Also, did you get the gift card that was with it?

The candles are great, and yes, I will remember you the next time I need some. In fact, if you want to send me that list, it would be wonderful. They smell so good.
Yes, they did. I caught Alice carrying one of the pouches around one evening trying to figure out a way to open it.
The gift card was the first thing I actually opened, and squeeled. My son and I will really enjoy it when we go see my daughter again.
