As of right now:
March 16 Canterbury Faire
Entire run of Scarborough Faire March-May
November 9 TRF
November 29-30 TRF
subject to change without notice. ;D
Nebraska Ren Faire (May)
Nebraska Pirate fest (May)
Iowa Ren Faire (May)
Siouxland Ren faire (June)
DesMoines Ren Faire (Sept) 2 out of 3 weekends.
Riverssance (Oct)
Celtic and Highland games here and there
edit for add: Possibly might add one of the weekends of KC and possibly the MNRF. Depends on the Games, we are repping 3 clans now: Davidson, Murray and Cochrane
Minnesota Fairy Festival in Circle Pines, MN in May
Minnesota Renaissance Festival Aug and Sept.
Hopefully I will be able to attend some other Fests in the future but these are my only two for now. =(
Sonora in March, and Valhalla in June. After that it all depends on too many variables to tell for now.
The current plan for us:
Opening Sherwood Forest Faire
Opening Scarborough Renaissance Faire
Opening Castleton (Muskogee, Oklahoma)
We'll make a decision on RenDezvous, once that's announced, but it could be really iffy.
Possible trip to Kansas City RF, since I have a nephew that might put us up for the weekend...
CTRF (Guilford) in May
NJRF in early June
MFRF (Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire in CT) in late June
Sterling RF in July
NYRF for all of August and most of September
PARF in September or October
CTRF (Hebron) in October
And maybe this will be the year that I finally make it to Maryland RF!
Great thread DC! Well done!
The Duchess and I have the following planned:
Arizona Renaissance Festival, Feb 16-18
Colorado Renaissance Festival, June 15 - Aug 4
Santa Fe Renaissance Festival, Sept 21 - 22
Minnesota Renaissance Festival, Sept 27 -29
TRF (mayhap), Nov?
Rowan, sorry to hear we won't be seeing you in Colorado this year.
Merlin, we HIGHLY recommend the Kansas festival. We have been many times, and have even joined their cast as guest performers. It boasts one of the loveliest sites and one of the best performing casts we have encountered.
Currently the only ones for certain are
Feast of St. Volac, January 19th
NTIF - at least Saturday or Sunday, not sure which, possibly both
Scarby - all days, since I'm working at Majikah again
TRF - opening weekend for my birthday
I'm hoping to make an appearance at Sherwood, but that's still up in the air, and I've honestly no idea what weekend that would even be, given that I've just this past weekend finished my move, and in the coming weeks my roomies will be making their driveway shuffle as well.
Also, possibly the Midland Celtic Festival in March (right after NTIF)
Opening Weekend of Sherwood Forest Faire - February 9 & 10.
The Houston Celtic Festival and Highland Games - April 27 or 28.
Some Saturdays of TRF in October and November.

I didn't think to count St Voloc and NTIF. We have Saturday and Sunday shifts at NTIF. but not in garb!

I've only seen you once without your clothes!
Sherwood Forest Faire - Feb 9-10 and March 30-31 for sure, but probably more weekends in between
Colorado Renaissance Festival - June 22-23
Texas Renaissance Festival - Probably at least one day every weekend :P
Scarborough is a maybe; we might skip it so we have more money to enjoy in Colorado. ^_^
Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival every saturday starting 8/24 to 9/28.
I'm also planning trips to GLMF for saturday 8/3 (never been there)
and PARF for saturday 10/12 (it's been 8 years)

To most people, this might sound like symptoms of a serious disease, but we plan to FLARF, BARF and GARF this year. It'll be opening days for each plus St. Molden's Day at BARF.
That is, by the way, Florida Renaissance Festival, Bay Area Renaissance Festival and Georgia Renaissance Festival.
We hope to get to Tennessee this year as well. After that, we'll see ...

I'll BARF right along with ya! ;D
My schedule is shaping up as follows, subject to change of course!
BARF - St Molden's weekend
Tennessee - May 11-12
GLMF - entire run
Pittsburgh - sometime in September
Ohio - sometime in October
Considering Michigan on Labor Day Weekend.

I love the way you put that.
I'll be at GARF to open my Hairbraiding and Henna shops, then leave it to crew for a couple of weeks; so that I can help The Hubby open our new food shops at OKRF.
Then we both will do the entire run of NYRF (Tuxedo) (Hairbraiding, Henna, and Food)
and the entire run of TRF. (I'll be running Queen's Pantry, and the Husband will be running his fruit shops)
... and then we fall down.

The wife and I are planning on attending as many weekends of Sherewoof Forest Faire as possible, along with the Celtic Festival. We'll try to make the big three weekends at Texas Renfest again as well.
Scarborough starts right after Sherewood and conflicts with my wife's big birthday party and our anniversary- which occur in the middle of its season. I'm not sure we'll make it this year.
I too, shall be BARFing, FLARFing on opening weekend, Hoggestown, John Levique Pirate Festival, and St. Augustine Pirate Gathering. MDRF is always a good time on Labor Day. TRF is (again) on the tentative schedule. Schedules get dodgy in the fall...
But I have freed up some time during July. I'm really looking forward to my first visit to Sterling!
Sherwood plan opening, spring break, closing,
Four Winds Canterbury Faire
Scarborough all season,
Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival is a maybe
TRF three big weekends.
With the understanding that no plan survives contact with the enemy aka life

Lord Clisto, Duke of York
Knight of the Holy Blade of York
Sounds great, Iain! A quick check of their website shows that Albannach will be there as well.

I concur! KCRF has a lively crew, with near constant public interaction.
The last time I was there (2006) I really enjoyed the fact that the court was the most HA I had ever seen. Costumes were impeccable, the actors actually
looked like the people they were portraying, and their mannerisms, accents and gestures were very entertaining. The addition of the over-the-top Vulgarian Court was great.
There are some good travel plans in this thread (esepcially yours, Lord Clisto).
Does anyone else have 2 events to attend in 1 weekend? I'm going to the Norman (OK) Medfaire the first Friday in April for the day. The next morning, I get to travel to the Renaissance & Fantasy Festival of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, AR to set up my tent for the weekend. It's about a 2 hour drive to each event from the homestead.
Craigmeister--yup, I do! Closing weekend of CTRF (Robin Hood Springtime Festival) and opening weekend for NJRF overlap so I'll go to NJRF opening day on Sat., June 1, and CTRF closing day on Sunday. Both are about 2-1/2 hours from my house in opposite directions. You won't hear me complaining, though! :)
Loveland Castleteers
Hoping to make Ashville Viking Festival
Kentucky Renaissance Festival for various weekends in June and July. Opening weekend for sure
Planning a trip to the Great Lakes Medieval Faire
Ohio Renaissance Festival just about every weekend in September and October
As of right now we are looking at just Scarby and TRF.
The PP's robin hood themed show opens the week before Scarby and runs through May 11th. The other Flamingo brother plans to come visit during that time. With him here you KNOW that we will be going to Scarby. How could we not? ;D Otherwise I know we will be going opening Saturday, and maybe closing weekend. We shall see.
Edit: Ooops forgot the annual Consillium invasion of TRF in November. Should be interesting going to faire with a toddler. Granted she how has her lamb toddler backpack and I'm making her a little scottish dress to go with it.

Alas, Rowen, the Vulgarian Court is no more. Sigh.
Sherwood forest faire gathering Jan 18 -20 (had a blast learning about SWFF)
Sherwood forest faire Feb 23-24
Scarborough Faire All fair
TRF Opening weekend, Pirate weekend, Roman Weekend, and maybe Barbarian weekend.
Many weekends of Scarborough Faire (my first year as a FoF), probably mainly Saturdays.
TRF, not sure which weekend yet.
I think that's it, unless we can hit some small localish things between the two.

So will it be Row 12 with the Scots or Row 8 with the French? The party starts at 8:00am on Saturday.

Ohhh! The Scots, to be sure! (not to slight my French brethren)
Hopefully at very least the Minnesota Renaissance Festival but possibly a couple more.

Bob, I will be attending all of these as well except NJ and MD (although I would certainly love to fit them in) in addition to KRF which is only 20 minutes from my house.
We should def plan a meet up.

Pittsburgh a couple of times
Am going to try and visit Ohio
I may also try to visit the Georgia fair
Alaric,
