Many moons ago (I think 2005 or so) there was a thread for a renne cruise out of Houston.  There was only a portion of the ship that was set aside for rennies, the rest of the ship was for mundanes.
No special settings or props just a portion of the dinning area set aside for rennies to congregate in.
It would have been better had they had a sailing ship decked out, but most likely not enough money
in it to do so.

The Titanic was a very well built Irish Ship......the only mistake they made was giving it an English Captain....

The RMS Olympic was her twin and sailed for many years without incident.  She was built in 1911, was used in WWI and scrapped in 1935.  Ironically the third sister ship, Britannica, also sank in 1916. ::)
There is a rumor of some billionaire building a Titanic replica.  It would be kinda cool, if nothing but to really see what she looked like.
Last year (100 years since sinking anniversary) there were several TV programs that came out recreating certain aspects of the ship as close as they could from original records.  They did hand riveting, recast her anchor from the original plans, rebuilt the famous smoking room fireplace with accompanying chairs, etc...  It was a very cool mini series!

Aye, and the Duchess and I were there to witness the event!  'Twas marvelous indeed to encounter so many of "our people" by happenstance.

Alas, as we had no inkling that they would be there, we were dressed as mundanes.  Despite which, we were warmly welcomed by our fellow rennies.

P.S.:  Ask Willow about her alcohol-induced mal de mer.
