I know there are some new entertainers listed in a recent email (most of whom are going to be there only a few weekends), but is there anything big going on with new entertainment? Did we lose any of our faves? What happened to Twig and Hey Nunnie Nunnie (a couple of our faves).
Just thought I'd ask...
I know it will be great as always.
Super glad Tartanic is returning!
Nothing yet??? I noticed an Adam Crack sized hole in the entertainment schedule....gonna miss his show!
The Daily Schedule has been posted - http://www.srfestival.com/daily-schedule/fun/daily-schedule.html (http://www.srfestival.com/daily-schedule/fun/daily-schedule.html)
Adam Crack will be at the Georgia Renaissance Festival this season; but we hope to have him back in the future. In the meantime - we will have Jacques ze Whipper appearing on Opening Weekend of the Festival on the Peg Leg Stage - be sure to stop by and see him!
We are very excited about the new and returning acts that will be a part of Scarborough Renaissance Festival this season!
Danielle, take the trailing period off of the link...

Oh, it looks like an exciting season Danielle! Can't wait to see what's in store this year. Best of luck to you and everyone at our favorite escape! We have our reservations, our FOF tickets and will be pointed that way on opening day eve...
Saxon Moon should be good to see - I have heard their music online and looking forward to it.
Danger Committee we have seen at our home faire in Minnesota and they are good.
Will miss Wine and Alchemy though.
I hate that we're going to miss you and your lovely wife this year, Gauwyn. You're going which weekend?

April 20/21. You could always come back.
We will see you at rendezvous?
I've never seen the Queen's Troupasaurs. That should be interesting. Anyone know them?

Depends on the timing of the move into the new house. It's not completely out of the question... and yes, it is our plan to be at RenDezvous.
for those who have not heard Saxon Moon and wondering what kind of music it is, I recorded these videos at last Years Celtic Fest at Sherwood.
This is a wonderful group in my opinion.

The Queen's Troupasaurs was introduced last year. Three to five SAPA performers (from an overall group of 10) will take a word from the audience which will be the inspiration for a 15 minute one act play. Essentially, we are our characters playing characters, so a court lady could easily be a fishmonger's wife or a soldier in the trenches. Because it is improvised, I can't tell you if it will be a comedy or a tragedy or just something really crazy in between.
Our rotating characters this year are:
Lady Mary Brandon, Grace Potter, Paddy Walsh, Lady Audrey Grey, Misha Borodin, Scab the Beggar, Sir Thomas Howard (Lord Norfolk), Natalya Oraedea, Sir Edward Stanley (Lord Derby), Iosif Leonid Kasimir Anatoli Svetzimi (King of the Gypsies)
Being a new idea and show, we're getting our wings bright and early on Saturdays at 11:30 and then we will do a show on Memorial Day. We also will have a slot during the FoF day, so we can hopefully get in some practice in front of a live renaissance festival audience. Hope you are able to come see us.
Dana Browne
aka Lady Mary Brandon
Sounds like fun. Just can't wait to see all the new stuff, old stuff and old friends and new friends.
