If you don't already know about this, please show Adrian and the members of Tartanic extra love this weekend, they have lost a couple of dear friends and loved ones.
Here's what they posted on their Facebook page:
"Difficult to accept the loss of Max McDougall and Emily Preston.... dear friends/family/band-mate and always forces of positivity and happiness. Two young people who were untimely ripped from their time on this Earth to live and love. The did everything right...their future looked sooo bright... Jill Anne Jack, F-15H and I saw them off from their new home, which F15H shares with them, just this past Friday after spending too few precious moments with them both. You never know it will be the last time.

Max was the living embodiment of "How To Win Friends and Influence People" with his smile, his ear and compassion... Emily was his perfect match and life partner... Attached is our promo video from 2009 at the Detroit Highland Games with Max on the drumkit...
I will miss them both so very much... so senseless. I wish the best for all who knew them, or knew of them, and I wish their murderer will never forget, drive or drink again."
So freakin' senseless.
Many of us do some serious drinking while at faire. Be certain that you know where to draw the line, or have a Designated Driver. I've lost several friends to drunk drivers. It would be appreciated if that statistic doesn't rise.
so sad
We saw the accident on the news in Houston. Not until I got the facebook post I realized the
extra loss to many faire communities around the US. What an experience they created for 10s
of thousands.
