Post if you plan on being there.
Don Juan and I will be there on Saturday and Monday. We usually need Sunday to recover from the heat.
For those who are new, the Monday parade includes as many veterans as can be persuaded to join. If you are a veteran or know one who is attending, please see the gate guards for a yellow sash.
Also, as a farewell to our gate guards who we have laughed with, harassed and gotten assistance from all season, we will be bringing small gifts of chocolate.
If you would, please join in. The more, the merrier.
Head wench and her friend are going Saturday since I hafta work.
I may go Sunday.
All are going Monday specifically for the Memorial Day parade. :D
I wish we could come down. Monday will be the final appearance of Queen Anne. I should think that closing canon will be extra emotional this year. :'(
I will be there Saturday with Wife, mother, and both my sons. Sunday it looks like it will be me only. Monday it will be Me,wife and one son. And we will call it A GREAT Run of Scarborough faire it was ....................Huzzah
I'll be there all three days -- planning on catching some of the shows that I've somehow missed over the last seven weeks (how did that happen?).
Monday will be a very emotional day, indeed. The memorial day parade usually makes me cry, and I know I'll be sobbing (hopefully silently) at closing cannon.
I will be there all three days. I work the gate so I kinda have to be! I do plan on coming to Saturday's tailgate as well. It will be great to meet you all more than just scanning tickets and checking mugs!
We'll be there on Sunday and Monday
I should be there all 3 days! With any luck... :D
I'll be there all three days.
I will be there with my newly converted playtron friend (first season), Lacey, in tow for probably Sunday and definitely Monday. Waterproof mascara? Check! :'(
I'm in for all 3 days, and unlike every other day this year, when I've left just as quickly as possible to avoid the long lines of folks getting out of the parking lot, I'm in to the very bittersweet end on Monday to bid farewell the the only Queen Anne I've known.
*note to self: get WATERPROOF mascara*
I shall be there all 3 days but I can't guarantee opening or closing on any day except closing Monday.
Were we not just counting down to Opening a few days ago? Where does the time go?
I'll be there Sunday and Monday. Can't believe its over already....
We have events planned for Sat and Monday so i will for sure be there those days, not sure if im going to drive up sunday. Im going to miss working there every weekend. :(
I'm planning on being there all 3 days! I'll be kilted Saturday & Monday, but gypsy garb on Sunday as I have to drum for the belly dancers on the Ivanhoe Stage. Please come to one of our shows Sunday at 11:30, 1:30, 3, 4 & 5:30, and stay afterward to say "Hi!" Even though it's been a LOT of work on performance days, it's been a fantastic season this year, with glorious weather each weekend :D
It was a wonderful closing weekend. We had a little rain Saturday late, some on Sunday but that just meant Monday was a lot cooler. Quite a crowd turned out for the parade.
It was a nice day to say farewell for awhile.
I was only able to make it out for Monday, but it was a great day indeed. A Hearty Huzzah to all of our men and women of the Armed Forces.
Sorry, but I didn't make it out all season. Just didn't want to do that 12 hour drive again, so I made it up to the Georgia Renaissance Festival, which is only about 5. Anybody that has never been, should check out GARF. It 's about the same size and scope as Scarborough. Very pretty and tree filled area south of Atlanta of I-85.
I had a great time and caught the ren bug, so heading to Larkspurshire for the Colorado Renaissance Festival next week. Should be there for the celtic weekend it looks like. Anyone else going?
