I wasn't sure where to put this, but figured some folks here might enjoy it. I had to drop by Giddings a few nights ago... on the way back to the Austin area, noticed the sky was very clear that night. Pulled over at the entrance of Old Potato Rd and took a long exposure shot. You can see the Milky way above the road/trees. (Click the pic for a larger version)
The trees got lit by all the passing cars on 290.
