Title: Making Wine
Post by: EltonJ on August 09, 2013, 09:20:39 PM
I'm seriously thinking about vitnering my own wine.  This is really for religious purposes, but according to Law I can't sell the wine I make.  However, what I like to know is anyone's favorite vintage (i.e. type of grape wine).

I desired to make Bolaro wine -- the wine of Kings around the Renaissance for my first try. Although the reason for trying it was probably a good reason -- the kit comes with a grape pack.  One of these days, I can show up at Renfaire, showing off my work.

Ask 100 people and you will get 100 answers. For white, I would choose viognier, for red I would choose carmenere. Have you visited any small wineries and talked with their vintners?
