Okay everyone, so i have been reading all the posts and i made a list of names of everyone that is going to be at Sterling, on opening day Saturday.

Meeting place : Since people are coming from all over, and some of us have a two or three hour drive to get there,i was thinking instead of meeting before the gates open, that we should all meet at noon at the Bad Dog tavern.
If you have a renaissance festival memmber pin, remember to wear it so we can identify you. ! :)

You are correct I will be there.
I will be there at the tavern at noon as you suggested (I assume you mean the Bad Dog?). Also, in case anyone comes early I will be at the front gate maybe an hour or so early (9:30ish or earlier).

Yep, Bad dog tavern. I had a temporay memory loss there for asec, lol ! Must be suffering from faire withdrawal. can't wait for the season to start.
Weather looks good for saturday. Keeping fingers crossed. friday and sunday they are calling for thunderstorms.
I'll be at the Archery booth, except for the rare privy run, and the late afternoon "how much do I owe the spaniards?" break.

It looks like we won't be making it for opening weekend unless we win tickets ;) but we'll be sure to lift a pint or two at home and toast Opening weekend ~ HUZZAH!!!! ;D
I looked at weather.com for Sterling and the all-time high temperature was 93 deg. F in 1987.
The forecast now is for 92 deg. F on Saturday with 60% humidity.
Looks like the Bad Dog Tavern is a good spot for the meeting place.
By any chance does the Bad Dog have air-conditioning?:P
I predict there will be a run on kilts on Saturday because of the extra "ventilation".

I shall be there!! Look for the black "pixie prison" about my neck, I plan on working my pixies hard all day!

Marie......are you near the 'hot nuts'...... ::)....booth? I stopped in Saturday and asked about someone from the ren.com...and the lady didn't know what I was talking about. She said, maybe her sister was a member. Did I have the wrong shoppe???
That was my booth, Irish....that red headed wench of a sister did not mention it! :P
