Title: Twilight fans? Warning, Contains Spoilers!!
Post by: Lady Neysa on July 20, 2008, 01:11:08 PM
Are there any fans of the "Twilight" series out there?  My teenage daughter got me hooked on them.  It's the first book series since Harry Potter ended that sucked me in and I couldn't put down.
Borders is having a midnight release party on Aug.2 for the 4th and final book. The Twilight movie come out in Dec. It looks like it's going to be really good!  Robert Pattinson, who played Cedric Diggory in HP stars as Edward.

TWILIGHT FAN!! RIGHT HERE!!! *jumps up and down waving arms in the air* I can't wait for Breaking Dawn, but I won't be able to get to the midnight opening like I did with the last few Harry Potters  :(

Right here!  And it was totally by accident.  Two years ago I picked it up out of the blue at the bookstore just down from my dorm when I wasn't feeling good-you know, for that snuggle in bed story while I toughed it out... and I couldn't put it down.  Didn't do an ounce of homework that weekend.  Went back the next weekend with the next paycheck and bought New Moon.  Thank goodness it was before the craze, otherwise, I might not have read it.  Silly huh?

But AH!  I've already preordered me book and I want it now!  I gotta know how it ends!  I gotta!

The movie looks amazing!  True to the feel of the books.  Oddly, I'm not a Pattinson fan at all, but I think he makes a good Edward.

So, do tell, are you team Edward, or team Jacob?  I'm undecided-I like them both!  My daughter is an Edward fan all the way.  Can't wait for the next book, and I'm really looking forward to the movie-good casting.

My family just vacationed in Washington visiting family 2 weeks ago.  They live in Sequim, 15 miles from Port Angeles.  We went to Forks!  It was SOO cool!  The whole town has embraced their fame from the books.  They give Twilight tours, with a map pointing out all the landmarks,  the hospital even has a special parking space "reserved" for Dr. Cullen.  We got lots of pics of the different places mentioned in the books, pics of our daughter standing in front of Forks High School.  We also went to LaPush, and first and 2nd beach.  It was so amazingly beautiful!  Too bad they didn't do the filming there.  We even stopped by Bella Italia, the restaurant Edward and Bella went to in Port Angeles, and they too advertise their role with a special book display.

I hope I don't end up picking apart the movie-"that's not how that looked I was there!"

Team Edward  ;D  And it would so awesome to go to Forks and LaPush! I am such a dork that I would probably go camping nearby just so I could visit. On the author's website she posts a quote from Breaking Dawn every day, and it makes me want the book soooo bad. I just have to know what the quotes are talking about!!

I know!  The other day, the quote was just: Edward- "Oops."  Oops?!  That's all I get?!  GAH!  Why?

You went to Forks!  So jealous!

I'm team Edward all the way and would have been partial to team Jacob if he hadn't been just an annoying, emotional, jerk of a teenage boy in Eclipse.  But that's the way of boys I supposed.  Maybe that's why I love Edward.  He's more adult-like...  *sigh*

Love it! My friend recommended the books, and at first I was reluctant, thinking, 'Eh, it'll be some trashy vampire novel, I don't think I'll like it.' I was wrong. :) I am awaiting August 2nd!

I'm gonna go with Team Edward too, but I'd be really torn if I were Bella... Jacob is really a sweetie, and plus who'd want to cuddle with someone with cold skin all the time? But I have to go with Edward... you can't argue with true love , no matter how illogical it is. :)

I just read Twilight last weekend, one of the kids in the show I'm directing loaned it to me, telling me I "had to read it". I totally heart Edward, but I haven't had a chance to get the next books yet and the kids promised not to spoil anything for me.

Anyone read the first chapter of Edward's point of view on her website? Interesting to say the least.

Ok, so I picked up a copy of Entertainment Weekly last week, and saw the cover that had the article about the Twilight movie. That peaked my interest on the books, so my niece lent me the first one. I WAS HOOKED. I finished all three books in 3 1/2 days, and we're anxiously awaiting the 4th.

I'm Team Edward all the way, I think they're destined to be together. I mean seriously, for her to have that reaction to him EVERY TIME he gets near to her??? It's totally fate!

Even though I knew there were vampires in it, I was thinking the books were gonna be about some teenage drama queen and way too high schoolish. Boy was I wrong!  I've even got my husband reading them.

That's why I was reluctant a couple years ago... but I read the first chapter and couldn't put it down.

Ah, the conversion of the masses... *sigh* so good.

I'm sure I'll love it just as much as Twilight, can't wait to read it this weekend...

OMG!! YES YES YES I'm a Twilight fan!  I can't beleive you guys are here!! (Jeeze I can't type fast enough I'm so excited!)

Edward fan here!!  Only because it doesn't make sence for it to be Jacob because he would have imprinted with her right away.  Oh dear....  Maybe I shouldn't say anything for those who havn't read all of them yet.......  I picked up twilight about a month ago.  Then was hooked.  I read all 3 books in a week!!

I will be at the midnight party here at my Barnes and Noble.  I am actually working it.  I will be painting faces there.  So I will have my book at midnight on the 2nd of August!!!   But I have to be at Faire to work in the morning.  So I'm not sure how much reading I will get done....

I've seen a couple of the movie trailers.  Edward is almost exactly how I pictured him in my mind.  Bella is not though.  I'm sure that as soon as I've seen it, it will feel exactly right.  Just like Harry Potter.  I can't imagine the characters to look any other way.

Did you know that Stephenie Meyers is planning another book called Midnight Sun.  It's Twilight from Edwards perspective.  I got this link off her website.  It's really good.

http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/pdf/midnightsun_chapter1.pdf

I would love to hear some of your theories of where the story is going to go.  Will Bella really become a vampire??

I painted a friend into a vampire.  I will share it if your interested.  She loved it.

Ok, theories.... I can do this.

Since I'm not familiar with this author, other than the Twilight series, I can't really say one way or another how she will chose to end the series from Bella's perspective. Will she write it like Harry Potter, and kill off all the ones we really and truly love? Will she give Edward and Bella their happy ending? Will the wedding happen, as well as Bella's transformation? I'm BRIMMING with questions, and I can't really answer any of them!! I don't think that she could kill off anyone important at this point. Well, she could, but you'd think that she would have started getting rid of characters in the last book.

I really do hope that Bella winds up with Edward, and that the passion that she feels for him carries over into the transformation. If not, then maybe she'll be transformed and then wind up with Jacob, as a vampire. Now THAT would be kinda cool...

I have a few different theories.  (if you've not finished reading the books, don't  read these if you don't want to much insight)

In the beginning I was thinking that Bella would remain human, and be like a liason/peace keeper between the vampires and werewolves. It would end much the same way that "Tuck Everlasting" did-Bella going on with her life and aging, finding new love, etc.

Then I got to thinking that maybe she would go through with the change, but afterwards, Jacob would imprint on her, perpetuating the love triangle.

Another idea is that with the way Bella is immune to some of the vampires powers, I was thinking that something would go wrong and she wouldn't completely transform and she'd be part human/part vampire, then...she'd end up having a one night stand with Jacob, get pregnant and have the first human/vampire/werewolf crossbreed.   I know......it's probably way too far fetched, but it would be an interesting twist.
Title: Re: Twilight fans?
Post by: LadyMeg on July 25, 2008, 12:41:47 PM
AH!  Theories!  I love them...

I always want Bella and Edward to have their happy ending, but the closer it comes to the ending... the more I think that it might end up the "Tuck Everlasting" way, with Bella as a human.  The reason for this...

those who haven't read to the end of Eclipse or so might not want to read this (I don't know how spoiler like it will be but I don't want to ruin a single thing for anyone....)............

Bella keeps having her doubts about the change.  Yes, she adores Edward (hello!) but I also think she values her human life.  After her little chat with Rosalie (which I appreciated and now like the character), I think she might be looking at it another way.  I don't think that'd ever change her love for Edward or visa-versa... I just have this horrible feeling that she'll remain human and we won't have a 'happy' ending like we all crave.  Other evidence... there was an interview where Stephenie remarked that a fan asked her if she'd like the end and Stephenie only said that their would be closure.  I could be wrong... been known to happen...alot...lol.
Title: Re: Twilight fans?
Post by: Lady Neysa on July 25, 2008, 01:15:39 PM
Yet another thought-  Bella may want to go through with the change, but for some reason the transformation won't work...and she and Edward will either have to live with her growing older and him eventually  losing her, or they'll have to make the painful decision to move on once and for all.  I can imagine them either never seeing each other again, or maybe Bella seeing him one last time as an old woman or something like that.

All this speculation is gonna drive me nuts!
Title: Re: Twilight fans? Warning-May Contain Spoilers!
Post by: Mistress Charlotte on July 25, 2008, 09:33:55 PM
I wonder what kinda of vampire Bella might be.  After all she is impervious to at least 2 things, Edwards mind reading and the Voltari Jane's mind pain.  I wonder if she will be more powerful than the Voltari..... or all of them for that matter?

I do worry about Edwards desire dissapearing though after she turns.  After all he LOVES the way she smells.  He's sniffing her all the time.  Once she doesn't have her blood to sing to him anymore, will he be done with her.....?......then it will be to late to be with Jacob.

Will they fake her death so she can be a vampire freely or will she go to Alaska and just pretend that because she's not in the sun she turns white.  Will She and Tanya have to "have it out". ???

I don't know!!!!  7 more days..... 6 after midnight!!

I'm trying to find a model to paint before I go to the book party.   I want to paint the book cover on someone.  I have the design all worked out in my head.   Anyone want to come to Denver and be painted.....???    I hope I get to do it.   It's frustrating not being able to just go to Micheals and pick up a canvas.................  Arrggg.

My biggest fear - That the story will continue with Bella being a human and them running into another "obsticle"  then it ends with Edward leaning in to take a bite..... I will absolutely scream if that is what Stephenie Meyers does.....  Scream I tell you!

OMg I am new to this site and cant believe there is a section for twilight fans. I love the books even tho I am not a teenager. My hubby laughed at me right up until he started reading them to and now he is hooked. I can not wait for Breaking dawn. I have read a lot of really interesting theory. For me... just once I would like a series to have a nice normal happy ending, with everything as it should be in my opinion. I want Bella to be a vamp and live happily ever after being friends with Jacob, and everyone getting along...doubt it will happen that way. :(

Ok, so, I was reading ew.com, and Stephenie Meyer gave a little spoiler for us.... ready for it???

BELLA AND EDWARD GET MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read her big spoiler on ew.com and what a let down. I think we already figured that out! No big surprise. There are rumors that some books were sold early in Iowa from Walmart and there is also rumor that some books were sold at an airport shop in Texas. I read what is supposed to be a synopsis from the epilogue from the book, but I am not repeating it because I don't believe it is real but it could be.

Yeah... I don't believe the spoilers or rumours unless it comes from the source, especially this one.  I know that there was a bit of annoyance with presold things and advance copies and I know that Stephenie asked that most of the twilight forums go down until the book comes out to protect us from spoilers (which I love!).  I hate when I come across something accidentially and spoil it for myself.  I like to be rather surprised... and then... sometimes, I can't help it.  LOL.

I don't think it was a surprise that our dear couple were getting married, but I think it was a surprise that she said it happens early on in the book... which 'cause me mind to spring up all sorts of theories!  AH!  LOL!

I've been having Twilight dreams for the past 2 weeks. I CAN'T STAND IT ANYMORE!!!

Ok, here's what I hope will happen...

1. Edward and Bella get through their wedding, and then have their "honeymoon"
2. Bella gets changed!
3. Jacob gets a GIRLFRIEND
4. All of the Cullens stay alive

Yep, sure do!  Becca's gonna wear her "Love at First Bite" Forks t-shirt, and Brian will wear his Forks, vampire capital hat.  It's gonna be a blast. I hope it isn't as crowded as the Harry Potter party was, that was just nuts.

Wait, maybe I do want it to be as popular, because..

Random thought:  What do you think about the movie being released so close to Half Blood Prince?  I think they're being released 3 weeks apart.  Is that enough space?  I'm equally crazy about Harry Potter, but I worry Twilight won't get the attention it deserves going up against Harry.

"Why on earth would I be interested in a high school love story about teen agers?"

For over a year now I have thought this as my 16-yr-old daughter has urged, begged, and pleaded with me to start reading her favorite book series.  I just didn't see how I could possible enjoy it.

Yesterday I cautiously read through this thread, and then I finally picked up Twilight...

And now I am completely hooked!  I only slept about 4 hrs last night because I was up reading, and I'm on page 304, ready to start pleading with my daughter to give me the 2nd book because I **have to** keep reading.

See, the same thing happened to me. I'm still recovering from the loss of sleep due to Twilight mania. 3 days, minimal sleep. I actually read the books while I did data entry at work. Set the dem thing up underneath my monitor so I could look like I was working but I was actually reading the book. I just can't WAIT ANYMORE!!! I'm so freakin excited.

My husband's neice is the one I borrowed them from, she's my tweenie tweenie inbetweenie. Yeah, she's the one that keeps me up to date on what all the uber-younguns are into, like Hannah Montanah and Cheetah Girls. You know, all that Disney and Nickelodeon stuff. I took her to the Hannah Montana concert... I actually really liked it!!!

As far as it goes for Harry Potter and Twilight, I'm of the mind that there's no way in HELL that any self respecting Potter/Cullen fan will let this winter go by without seeing both movies on their midnight release date. My hubby and I do that with HP, and we'll do it with Twilight as well.

AH!  Can't wait for the release, but I'll have to wait a few days for mine (pre-ordered it to avoid getting to the store and it being sold out!)...  And I can't celebrate with a midnight wait... have to be at faire to work far too early for that to happen... am working on incorporating something Twilightish into the garb... just don't know what... ideas?

I had an 8th grader ask "If I bring the best book ever, would you read it?" I said, "sure".
That's pretty much where I started.  I've borrowed the first 3 from kids & one of them is buying my book tomorrow at midnight, but she isn't going to give it to me until Monday, b/c I have costumes for the show she's in to finish before we open a week from tomorrow! Being able to read the book is my incentive to get them done!

Hard to believe I'm so caught up in this!  Last night I spent 2 hrs tracking down my daughter--she thought she was in trouble for something--so you can imagine her humor when I demanded, "I need New Moon!"

And you can imagine my dismay when she couldn't immediately track it down from the various friends she might have loaned it to!  I had already checked our library system: 50-some copies, and every single one is either checked out or on hold.

It necessitated a trip to Borders late last night, getting my own copy a mere 10 minutes before the store closed.  The clerk, by the way, sheepishly confessed that he had finally started reading the series himself, and was every bit as hooked as I am.

It's madness, ladies! I can't wait to get caught up!!

HAHAHAHA!!! I couldn't get the 8-14 to work properly! I would have read them if I had. Poor EloquentXI, I messaged her last night and told her that I had it, and sent it to her at around 11 or midnight. Good thing she didn't have school today, or else she would have *suffered* from lack of sleep!

Um, PM me about 8-14...

You guys are funny!!! haha.   If I had time today I would take you up on the offer to accidentally find the first part of the book.  I get mine tonight at midnight at our local Barnes and Noble "prom Party".  I hope to read a little bit tonight but I have to be up and ready to work faire early Saturday.

I Won't really get to be into it until Monday.......... Shoot........

I a looking forward to holding the book in my hand though.   I will probably tread lightly here until I have the opportunity to read it completely.  Don't want to spoil it for myself.............

The same thing happened to me with Eclipse!  I ravenously finished New Moon late one night and went into my daughter's room to ask for Eclipse only to find she didn't have it!  She said she must have forgotten to get it back from a friend.  I whined like a little baby, and was at Walmart the very next morning where to my great relief found a whole row of the books.

I recently picked up the first book. It's awesome. Bella Swan and Edward Cullen are great for one another. I gotta get the other books soon. I found Twilight in Kroger, of all places. Haha. Stephanie Meyer is a phenominal writer.

My daughter and I, along with my sister & a friend from our book club, are going to Forks WA this Thur - Sun.  We're hoping to catch the Twilight movie premier in Port Angeles, but not holding our breath!  They're not doing advance ticket sales and our priority is to see Forks & the surrounding area.

I had an article recently posted on the Forks Forum; it's an attempt to explain the draw of the books, esp to adult readers.  Here's the link if anyone is interested in reading it:

GypsyWriter,  trust me, you won't be disappointed!  Make sure you stop by the Forks visitors center.  They have Twilight maps pointing out all the landmarks for you to find.  When we were there last summer, they gave out goody bags with the  map,  "official" chamber of commerce twilight trivia tests, and a little bag of sand from First beach.  At  Forks outfitters they have  authentic "Love At First Bite"  Forks t-shirts (if they still have em!)  They make great bragging fodder-saying they were bought IN Forks!  :)

Try to make a side trip down to LaPush- you will never forget it.  Like the author of that article said, standing on those windswept, isolated beaches is truly breathtaking and magical!  When we were there in the height of summer I think there was only 1 or 2 other people on the whole beach.  It was the same thing at second beach right down the road,  we had the whole place to ourselves- it was indescribable.  Second beach is a bit of a physical hike though..  If you go, be  warned that there are ginormous drift TREES (not little driftwood) that you have to climb over to get to the beach.   If you didn't see them earlier in this thread, here are some of our pics.  Hope you have a great time!

Ok.  I finally jumped on the bandwagon and am reading the series.  I hesitated as its considered Young Adult.  But I read the Potter books which are aimed at a young audience and enjoyed them, so I took the plunge.  I am so glad I did!  I am thoroughly enjoying the story and just LOVE the characters.  I'll definitely go see the movie, but I'll probably have to sneak off alone when the hubby is working and the boy is in school.  Yay!  What fun!

Thanks for the link to the great photos, Lady Neysa!  I had to giggle when I saw your message in the sand at the beach.

We've had the whole trip mapped out for several months, and defiintely plan to visist La Push, including the Quileute museum & First Beach.  I can hardly believe that 24 hours from now I'll be en route to Forks!

Thanks again for the info and for sharing your photos.

Last night, I saw the advanced screening of Twilight movie. This was a gift to my daughter (age 12) and god-daughter (age 14) – I had no real interest in the movie and I have not read the books. Discovery of the night - the "who is cuter" conversation can apparently go on for hours and hours - it can even reset itself back to the beginning.

That being said, I would have to say that I enjoyed the movie. It is a romantic story aimed at teenage girls and it does that very well. It was a good re-telling of the classic tragic love story with some modern twists to it to keep it interesting. Never was I bored or wishing I could leave, it was an overall good film.

I found the cinematography in the film was excellent. As well, the director used slow motion effectively in places and was particularly good at places two scene together in juxtaposition.

If you are in the target market or a fan of the books – go see it. My girls absolutely loved it and were giddy all the way home. According to them, it is pretty faithful to the book and not an "Eragon" style of book to movie. Yes, some scenes are slightly different and the lines are changed but overall it follows the essential parts of the book. If you are a parent looking at having to go for your daughter, relax and enjoy the flick. It isn't Lost Boys, but it sparkles well in the light.

I went to see it this afternoon I really enjoyed it and Alacirty is right it is not an Eragon and I'm very happy about that and some parts where moved around. The main story was there and a lot of people's favorite parts. One of my favoirte parts didn't make it into the movie but oh well. I'd gladly go see it again.

I went and saw it last night!!  ;D :D :) :o ::) :P ;D :D ;)

It was a REALLY good movie!! I've read all 4 books, and I was REALLY nervous about the book to movie transfer. Overall I was pleased...there are a few things I wish they had done differently, but I'll live. I just had to remind myself that this was a very low budgeted film, from a company that hasn't produced any Blockbuster's yet.

I think they presented it in a way that more people can watch the film and be interested. The books are geared for females mostly.

Just got back from the theater.   OMG...OMG...OMG!!!!!   It was soooo good!   My daughter and I were so afraid it would suck and not do the book justice, but we were very pleased.  Yeah, there were a few minor differences, (like the wrong restaurant), and while we thought the sparkly scenes were well done, we didn't think Edward was quite sparkly enough.  The casting was excellent. I LOVED Carlisle, we even had a debate about him being cuter than Edward.  My husband particularly liked the scene where Charlie is cleaning his gun, and tells Bella to bring Edward in.  ;D  The baseball game was fantastic.  Based on how some of the trailers looked, I was worried they were going to downplay how badly James injured Bella. However, that entire sequence was really good.

There was also much giddiness in our car from my daughter and her best friend, and a little from me too!   :D  We really want to see it again!

The TV guide channel had a report on the premiere tonight and from the looks of it, the author was very hands on. It also looked like the promo with the Hot Topic stores was a big hit as well as the jump in sales from the books. The possibility of two sequel films was mentioned as a strong possibility and a couple of the actors were already saying they wouldbe back.

I saw that!  Very Funny!  In fact, a lot of the popular TV shows have had cast from the flick on:  Today Show, Ellen.  It's amazing the reception the stars (  Stewart, Pattinson).  Especially, Pattison - he's so young and has been catapulted into instant super stardom - it's gotta be kind of scary.  It was so nice seeing his mom & dad in the audience on the Ellen show on Friday.  It allowed mature viewers to visually realize he is not the blood drinking vamp character he portrays in the movie (that their daughters go gaa-gaa for), but a young man who still has a close relationship with his parents.  As all young adults should!

I loved loved LOVED all of the books...  I'm actually on the fence about the movie.  I'm not loving it...  by far.  But I can't say I hate it.  I was just....  I don't know...  I felt the acting was HORRIBLE and the action scenes were embarassing.  I'm not thrilled that it was obvious they were harnessed for the fight scene in the dance studio.  I think Robert poorly played Edward.  The classroom scene he was near vomiting when he smelled Bella from the fan blowing.  thats NOT how it played out in the book.  It was not repulsed by her, which is the feel the movie gave.  Don't go jumping down my throat because I see most of you disagree and loved the movie.  I was so excited to see it and was nearly jumping up and down coming into the theatre...  leaving...  I was quiet.  I wasn't very pleased.  And it has absolutely nothing to do with "expectations people have for books being made into movies"....  no.  Not at all.  I'm really hoping when the next movie plays out, they patch up the work on it. :-\

My thirteen year old loved the movie, I thought it was a little slow but it captured the mood of the book. Got to say I love Jacob. Sorry, but I have this thing for native american guys. (HOT) Even at 51 you can still fantasize!!! The scene where they are at the top of the tree WOW. Loved the baseball game. Would go see it again.

I agree with much of what FortuneRose said.  Although I think the main problem was the poor budget, so I'm hopeful that New Moon might be better.  I thought Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson were both mostly good.  But I definitely agree with the scene in biology being played completely wrong.  If you read Midnight Sun, you may feel this way even more.

Much of the movie came off as unintentionally funny--pure camp.  There is no way they could have fully captured the intensity of the books, but I think it could have been done much better than it was.

I did see it at the midnight premier in Port Angeles.  Surprisingly, over half the people there hadn't even read the books.

Doesn't surprise me...I'd be one of them... :-[

I didn't know anything about it until the previews for the movie started playing on TV and the first thing I thought was "I've got to see that!"  Well, I did, last night actually, and I LOVED IT!!!

I only found out recently that the movie was based on a series of books, which actually really surprised me because I loved to read and one of my favorite genre's is Paranormal Romance (i.e. vampire romance).

So, where have I been? Hiding under a rock or what? Why didn't I know about this series or, at the very least, hear about it sooner?  ???

All I can say is, after seeing the movie last night, all four books have been downloaded onto my Amazon Kindle and are currently waiting to be read!  ;) ;D

Lady Ann, when I said I was surprised by the number of people who hadn't read the books, I meant the people in PORT ANGELES, WA which is where I saw the movie.  I was surprised because their town plays such an important part in the books, and the nearby town of Forks has been consumed by Twilight.

So GypsyWriter,  did you enjoy your trip?  Did you get to go to Forks?  Sounds like the movie was a bit of a letdown for you - I hope the rest of your trip was better.  On your way to Forks, did you notice how you kept going over the Sol Duc River......again...and again....and again...and again..... ::)

It was honestly the most beautiful place I've ever visited anywhere in the world!  We stayed in Forks and of course visited all the "Twilight Tour" spots in town, as well as eating at Bella Italia in Port Angeles.  Everyone in Forks was incredibly wonderful, very welcoming.

We also visited First Beach and the Olympic Natl Forest, but my favorite part of the whole trip was, wihtout a doubt, the Hoh Rain Forest.  Truly magical, like nothing else I've ever seen in my life.

There just wasn't enough time to spend at each spot, and we didn't even visit the lakes, the hot springs, and the other beaches.  That's why we're already planning a return trip for 2009.   ;D

Yes, Lady Neysa--every time we passed over the Sol Duc I had to smile to myself.  Do you watch the Forks web cam?  It faces the Sol Duc.  I saw the movie again Monday night--I will say I enjoyed it more the 2nd time--and it was especially exciting to see the "Forks" sights, knowing we were there.

I hadn't noticed this thread until just now!! Big fan here also. Luckily I was not introduced to the books until all four were already out, so I didn't have to wait. I read all four books in 3 1/2 days! I loved the movie also which I just bought. I really wish Stephanie would finish Midnight Sun. I loved reading the first few chapters from Edward's view. It was actually really funny to get to hear what everyone one was thinking especially Mike and Jessica!
I am so envious of those have been lucky enough to visit Forks and La Push!!
