So far the count is the six of us Comte.

Those being you and your lovely wife, Davood and Mojgan, The Marquis and myself.

For The Marquis to win the bet he will need to secure the attendence of six more Arizonians.

Have fun in Minnesota all!  Alan and I are flying into Berkley, MI on Thursday, 8/28, to see Owain play at O'Mara's and then on Friday morning we'll head to Grand Blanc for the rest of the weekend.  Maybe I'll make it to Minnesota some year or perhaps take a week and a half off and go to both in a two weekend period :)

Yes indeed.  Mojgan and I will be setting out across the long hot desert, only to arrive shortly thereafter at Sky Harbor Airport  :)

Can't wait to welcome everyone of you, to our home of the land of many lakes.  I call some of them ponds myself, but it's a local thing I think.

Drat!

Planned a ride of the PCH for that weekend. So while you guys are having the time of your life at faire, I will be having the time of my life, carving some damn fine curves on the CA coast.

Tis a shame, if only for the fact that it would have been nice to have a sizable group of us going up...at least I don't have to wear it

It was such a pleasure to see you guys again and to meet some more wonderful people from AZ. I can't wait to move down there. We talked about it more with the whole family again today. It's looking more and more like this may very well be our last winter here in MN. If we even make the whole winter. I already told the family I'm ready to go tomorrow. My father in law I think was surprised at how willing I was to get on the ball. Some day soon, but it can't come soon enough for me. I'll miss the friends I've made here. But I can't stand the weather anymore.

I have to say, the fish fry at Rain, the sweet corn at faire, and the burgers at Lion's Tap were incredibly tasty.  You Minnesota folks sure know how to put out a delicious spread!

He has such creamy white lovely knees!  I don't know why he took such exception to donning the great kilt. ;D

Funny thing is....The Marquis doesn't seem to want to make any bets with me anymore. ;)

Jules

When you get beaten like that, and have to pay for all your purchases, and have to walk behind you all day (I for one would sign up for that duty and time! ;D), and discover that wearing a kilt is a good thing, well the poor guy has no where to go!.

Take some compassion on the poor Marquis, it will be time for our faire before you know it and he will have to hear about this all over again!.
