Hey, renren!

Queen's Tea has been $15/person for the last few years, and sales for the event go on at the table outside the tent for most of the day up until the show.  The Dregs have made an appearance at each show for the last couple of years, and the shows are usually moderately full, rarely to capacity.  The material is fairly tame (this is the calm, quieter, yet funny counterpoint to the Smoker), and I've often seen kids there.  They serve fun little finger sandwiches, dessert and tea throughout the event, and it's a fun, slightly more sedate way to see a number of entertainers in short fashion.

We went to the Queen's Tea in 2006 & 2007 with a group of forum members.  It was wonderful!  We had a great time.  Your queen in MN is so sweet, and she made it so much fun.  I think it's definitely worth a visit.

The first time we went was in the 1990's.  Just my husband and I went, our teenage boys refused.  Well, they ended up standing outside and watching, and afterwards said they wished they were inside the tent, too.

We went to the Queen's Tea a number of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.  It is a nice sedate little event, some light refreshments, and entertainment.  Definately worth the price.

If this year there is no queen to see....    Wouldn't that make this event just a Tea?  ;-)

Could be that "She who will be Queen" will be there as the king's "intended". Haven't heard who is going to MC it since the Duchess of Diddle is rumored to have not had her contract renewed.
