Hi All,
I apologize to anyone who wanted and didn't yet get one of the ribbon "Snot 08" favors yet. We plan to make more and I would like to get a running count of who wants/needs one still.
I would to thank Tarac. He talked to many, many people and got the word out for us. As of this morning we had 3 left out of 120+ that we made. You did a great job my friend.

I would like to wear said favor, should I be allowed to get one. I know plenty of fans at MDRF who'd love the chance to show such honor for one of our own. Please let me know what I can do to forward this cause.

:o Wow LD & I just got swamped with orders.
We started this as something we wanted to do for people at our faire and I am amazed at the amount of people outside of our faire that want them too.
We are going to take orders as of this Friday (8/22/08) and then we are going to have to stop. We just don't have enough time/money to continue beyond that. We will fill the order that come in before 8/22/08 as quickly as we can.
We will be working with Sir Blackfox for MDRF as Tarac has been for MNRF...

Well my ribbon came and went.
Someone asked me where to get one and of course I just gave mine up.
As to Puke, my heart still goes out to him. Working with someone for over 30 years and then having them gone has to be hard. Almost like losing a spouse I would think.
I'm thinking that he liked the show of support which every human being with feelings needs, every now and then.
Can I have another?

I understand your interest in stirring up drama. My blog has always been public, anyone can go read it if they want to. My profile was private for about one week. I opened it again after posting the blog because I don't feel ashamed about my opinions, and didn't want anyone to think I was trying to hide. I haven't been asking you to defend yourself, and I'm sorry if you feel like this was a personal attack. It wasn't. I was merely stating my opinion/concerns. Something you advocate others do. Not everyone is going to agree with and support everything you do all the time. And some people, such as myself, may even vocalize their lack of support. Why are you getting so riled up over one person's opinion? You sounded confident that what you're doing is well received by the majority, why not just appreciate that feedback and relax a little?

I don't know where you got the idea that I am all riled up and I have no interest in stirring up drama. I want to give people the chance to read your opinion and make up their own minds. I won't say much because I would rather have my actions speak for me.
My opinion, post your link and let everyone read it. If you don't want to then don't.
Sorry to see the drama about the ribbons. I for one enjoyed the Puke N Snot show every year and sent many people to watch it. Most all had a great time and got many laughs.
Would wear a ribbon myself if I had one to show I was a fan and as a remebrance.
Like anything we all have different tastes and maybe they weren't everyones thing. Nothing can be. Music, art, food, movies whatever.
I hate to see others get feelings hurt over such a nice gesture of making the ribbons or for giving their feelings.
Nothing a shared drink wouldn't cure and maybe everyone have a group hug and realize everything is ok.

Joe Kudlas daughter here, Angela. Don't see much point in analyzing intent of a memorial ribbon. I know many people had a distaste for Puke N Snot, but after 34 years of working the festival I'd say they at least deserve nothing but respect. If you never had a chance to get to get know him I would love to talk to you! I am working right in front of their stage, selling soda. He loved the festival, and was loyal till then end.
One of my first memories of ren was in 1984 as a young teen and seening these over-grown children having a wonderful time making people laugh or cry. If they were offended, well then they found that sweet spot in comedy and worked it for all it was worth. I saw the new show last year and brought ren virgins, I was happy to say this was close to the original show that hooked me as could be. Love the show or hate(dislike) the show it is an icon to comediannes everywhere. LONG LIVE THE SHOW.
