Ok folks... sign on up and lets see how big a party we can make this!
Papagnome is having the annual Drunken Gnome party at his place (south of Houston) and has graciously invited McLotofus to join the festivities!
This years theme food stuff is mexican (ok, and all the other hispanic cultures too) and it is BYOB (although you can still bring me rum if you want)
Sign on in and let's see if we can overwhelm Papagnome's generosity!
Directions etc will be sent to those who need (and ask... because we don't know who all needs them lol)

Heck that's in the vacinity, anything within a neighboring county pretty much is. Count on Sir Edward and I and batch of chicken enchiladas and a couple of bottles of Loki.
Things are looking good as we are getting the keys a day earlier that expected...just need to make sure of the date...it's for Sunday, right? If I do make it I'm not sure what I can bring but I'll try to bring something.

I don't know for sure what my Sunday plans are... (OK, I almost never know what I'm doing till somebody tells me to stop it) But we will try to make it out if at all possible, and I have loki !
I am so honored that folks we have yet to meet are wanting to join us, it will be our pleasure to finally meet those we have not and spend time with those who we have.

I've lived in (military)sub freezing temps and rain and wind with little more than a tent and clothing. Surely we can all gather round and keep each other happy in some fashion! If I can survive last year's Thanksgiving weekend in the kilt, surely you can come out and imbibe a bit of rum!

It's not me that's keeping me from coming, its my family that is in the mandatory evac area on the lousyanna border.
I am safe and snug in San Antonio... but I am where they are all coming to tomorrow so we will be getting ready for them etc etc
Speaking of that, anyone planning to travel west from Houston tomorrow best plan on some serious delays starting in the morning... when the mandatory stuff becomes official. My folks left Orange tonight (right on the LA border) and tell me it's already starting to stack up.

Not a garbed event, sorry I should have posted that earlier...very informal. I am watching the storm updates as well, and as of now we are go for the party unless something drastic happens between now and noon...we may be running a bit behind so no rush, but we do wanna get started by 3:00 at the latest. So if anyone is running behind no worries.

Sorry we didn't make it out to the party, I was at the Tilted Kilt the night before and may have "over beveraged" a wee bit.
I really need to adjust my sleep schedule for these things in advance. Getting up at 3AM and hanging out with you fools is difficult!!
I had a great time in spite of being forced to leave early. It was good to see all of you.
I hope the Loki was well consumed, and I hope all had a great time after I left!!! There were many having their fun on my behalf, after all!
