I'm a big fan of Jay Leno's "Headlines", so I really cracked up when I recently ran across this ad in an area newspaper:
Jerry's Waterline Service & Lonesome Dove Transport have the following openings:
Shop help, relief fuel man, wench truck driver & experienced oilfield worker.
Apply in person at 4566 N. US Highway 287, Alvord; or call (940)626-8248.

WENCH truck driver????? :D
You've got to get those wenches to faire somehow! ;D
Well I'm a wench with a wrench, so a wench truck driver makes perfect sense to me. :)
*shrugs*
I've driven a fire truck, so I guess it doesn't faze me!
I'm still waiting for the Rogue driver position to open up! However, driving a wench truck does sound like fun ;)
This reminds me of a Far Side cartoon I once saw.
A Viking king sits on his thrown as another stands before him holding a WINCH (You know the thing you put on the front of trucks to pull something out or for towing)
The Viking Leader is saying. I told you to bring me the Wench not the Winch
Do we need wenches in the truck so the driver can be a wench truck driver? ;D I'm free!
How about Drenched Wenches? ;D
Let's see...in the caravan that's traveling to the Faire, would the Wench Truck go before or after the Friar Truck?
(I do enjoy a good pun, but I really love a bad one!) ;)
