Title: Underground Rennie newsletters?
Post by: groomporter on September 08, 2008, 12:00:41 PM
I heard at MNRF that the little Rennie newsletter "Uproots" might still be getting published. I think it was originally aimed at circuit rennies, but I haven't seen one in years. Are there any other underground Rennie publications surviving out there? or has the Internet replaced them?

I just discovered the SCRIBE network has an archive of the cover pages from the Uproots newsletter

Uproots is alive and well..... Ranger Ric is out there every Monday with the latest issue.  I just love the news content.....giggle...

Below is an article in volume #4
"Uproots E-editor Ky Hote has agreed to host the new online UPROOTS  We are hoping it will be a place for UPROOTS editors from around the country to place their articles for use in the local UPROOTS mags.  It will also be a place to go for current Renn. Faite Info including a grid of all the shows around the country.  We hope to have links to other Renn e-sites that we think you will find helpful.  The effort will be supported by donations by those who use it.  If you have any suggestions, news, art, or love, send them to Kuy.  ky@kyhote.com"
