Thanks to everyone who helped out or came to see the bloomers competition on Saturday and the tights competition on Sunday. We made $433.72 to be donated to the American Cancer Society.
On a somewhat related note, I have a biopsy scheduled for Thursday morning. They told me it's probably just necroptic tissue from the surgery last year, but they want to be really, really sure.
I got the results if anyone is interested.
And?
Meaning, yes, I'm interested!
Cool, I wasn't sure 'cause no one responded to my posting about the biopsy.
I'm cancer free!
;D

Huzzah!
Not sure, but I think I saw you by the front gate, as I was leaving fest! Was pretty tired, and not thinking too fast, either!
I was at front gate quite a bit this year. From 12:30-2:30 and 4:30-6:30. I was also there to help let out drum jam on the final day. I don't think I'll be there as much next year, I want to have more time to play on the street with the rest of the peasants.

The down side of this is that now I can't get insurance to pay for a set of perky new boobs. :P
Boo for insurers and pray that Dante set aside a special level of hell for them.

Great news indeed!
Congratulations! That is wonderful news!
That's awesome news.
I went to my first breast cancer support group last night. I found some women there that were strong and confident in the face of their cancer, and one woman I wanted to b*tch slap. Not a bad night.
Because I don't feel like starting a new thread, here's a pic of my new tattoo! I got it last night. The swirly in the ribbon is my zodiac sign glyph, which happens to be cancer, so the tattoo is my "breast cancer".

That is Fabulous!!!!

Absolutely beautiful.. Hmm... as my mother is a 2 time survivor I may have to steal this idea as my own sign happens to be Cancer as well. My own little twist on the "Mom" tattoo...

Feel free to steal the idea, and if you want the name of the artist who came up with the design, just PM me.
"Sisterhood of the Crippled Nipple" is also available for stealing.
Sorry Nessa, I'm just not into that kind of bond(age)ing (owie!) - I've got enough issues with my breasts already. :P
That is a great tattoo!!!! I love it!
LOVE the tattoo!!! Good for you, Miss B.
Nice Tat! Way Cool!
As a fellow cancer survivor, I can only say - HUZZAH! When my oncologist asked if I had any questions after he told me I was in remission, I asked, "Can I get a tattoo?" After giving me a hard look, he said yes & so I did.
Very cool tattoo indeed!
Huzzah for the tatoo!
That's an awesome tat, very sweet idea.

My oncologist is getting used to me asking lots of weird questions. He says I don't lead a boring life.
Nice tatty!
