Title: What's in your flask?
Post by: winterland on October 07, 2008, 02:57:52 AM
I was able to sample a few fine liquids from friends flasks during the festival. I don't have one yet. The one I want is expensive and I will need to save. Maybe get a cheap one for now.
Besides Ren activities, it would come in handy for hunting and many other occasions I am sure.

What do you carry in your flask?
Where do you like to bring it?

Your flask pictures would be cool also.

Right now I wish I had a flask with Irish whiskey in it. Would it be totally inappropriate to purchase a bottle of Powers and partake of a finger or two before class??

For very brief periods, my flask contains Scotch and then after a brief trip to the "mother ship connection" more Scotch.  Most recently Glenmorangie Nectar D'or, before that it was Glenmorangie Quinta ruban and before that the Balvenie double wood...Funny, I can't remember what I had for lunch yesterday but I can tell you what was in my flask a month and a half ago. :-\

As for this thread....rum...its all I got

I may have to do some recalibration with them as in put them back in a big bowl and reflavor or something. grrrrrrrrrrrrrr....i think im done trying my hand at the stuff, too spendy. Ill just keep at the "trying others" bit  ::)

Where did you get your great flask?
It looks like the ones Renaissance leather sells except the leather holder is different.
