He is now in Iraq.
Spookey is a nervous wreck.
His platoon has only been there for two weeks, and they have already been in 2 separate firefights.
Please keep him and his comrades in your thoughts and prayers.

I also want to make sure my first letter and package get to him before I give it out to anyone else. There was a bit of confusion when he first got out there.

I'm so happy he made it back safely to you. How long was he overseas?
SUPPOSEDLY he'll be back in late April/early May, and if that happens, he wants to go out to Scarborough at least a couple times... But He'll probably be back next October. I don't know anyone who went to Iraq for less than a year. All of my friends in the Corps and Army had their deployment extended once they were over there.
Keeping him and you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope to meet both of you at Scarborough come the spring. :)

And I will be at faire tomorrow, but I'm moving with him to Cali on Wednesday- so this will be the only time I can see you guys. *hugs* Thank you for all the support while he was gone. It really helped.

congrats spookey! it's good to hear he made it home well! my boyfriend is currently stationed at camp lejeune and deploys in may, but he will be home for his birthday and we will hopefully be having it at faire. i got 7 months of hair-pulling stress coming up though!

Trigger, my Bro-n-law is at Lejeune. He was supposed to deploy in May as well, once he finished up his current schooling. But now it is on hold and they might be sending him to Afg.... instead. But that is still up in the air.
Hope all will be well and he will return safely.
