I found this game a a hobby shop. It came out a couple years ago.

Pieces of eight is a metal coin game. It's like the collectable card games. Different coins have different abilities. The coins are bigger than a quarter. The set includes a small pouch that is used as your Hold during the game.
There are sixteen coins in a box and two different sets. The coins in each set are not randomized; you can combine ship sets to gain a wider selection of coins and the advantage over your foes.

I actually have the two different sets for this, but have yet to play it. I'll have to dig it out and find someone to give it a try with.

It's a great game to play when the rum flows free.
Not a lot of rules to remember and a fast paced game for pirates of any age.
