No question, I'll be there
No doubt about it, I'll be there...in a kilt this time!
If not, you may be a body guard for John. :o
Haha! John was cool. Shake'n was hilarious with him, and when he had to leave early, I had the honor of being John's bodyguard 'til a replacement guard was found. So yes, soon I shall have a Stillwater kilt!
I will also be there.
I believe that 2008 was probably one of our best turnouts for CRF ever! Not only did we show on the final invasion weekend, one could find some familiar faces in Fairhaven EVERY weekend. That definetly deserves a grand huzzah and a well done to the gang.
The 2009 dates have been posted, and as we get closer the weekend roll call thread will reappear and who knows we may make every weekend look like an invasion weekend! In the meantime keep an eye on the M'Crack threads and the M'Crack forum for news of more gatherings.
Hopefully my husband will have forgotten the condition I came home in (invasion weekend) and I'll be able to come back too..... ;) ::)

We could always arrange to have you abducted! ;) ;D
I really really really hope I'll be there, but I'll be in school in Maine by that point and it will all depend on transportation and such...Classes won't be a problem as I'd willingly skip them for Faire! (Avert thine eyes and read not my post o father mine!)

To all my M'Crack family members that might be little interested, due to a hacker breaking into my email account, I have had to change my email addy, it is now chuckn1@hotmail.com, I am happy that
it is now protected, so please feel free to contact me, and BTW, I will be there at CRF with me spouse
Pin'n as she as already stated.

I will try my bestest to be there. Just depends on my work situation at that time. :-\

What?!? No!!! I would *never* skip class to do anything! *Honest* I'm a good student!!! :o Besides, that happens to be my Thanksgiving break anyway.
I'm taking this to mean that some of you have a life outside of Faire...What's up with that??!!
As a new FOCM, I'm looking forward to this years event. The countdown continues...
Of course there is life outside of Faire...how else is one to earn the funds to pay the toll for entry into Fairhaven each weekend! Keep in mind my days of climbing the ramparts to avoid the gate keepers are long past.
As with Railbeart, I too look forward to the fall when Fairhaven appears once again in the piedmont of Carolina.
I'm planning to be there on the 21st...that Saturday.
Looking forward to seeing you then, the tailgate will be even better this year.
I remember seeing you last year, but I was still too shy to talk to anyone from the forum...so I'm REALLY looking forward to meeting as many folks as I can!
Being a very shy person myself I can understand, BUT...
This year get thyself down to M'Crack Corner and join in the fun! Some of us have lousy memories for names so please do say hi. And don't forget the final weekend is the official invasion weekend and you are expected to be at the tailgate.
Attention, shy people! Get one of these (http://www.cafepress.com/pointedcomments.322921628) and everyone else will do the hard part (starting conversations) for you! :D

I used to be quite shy and insecure, I promise you! Even now I definitely fit under the heading of 'socially awkward' more often than not. I just hide it better than I used to. ;)
I love that button!!

Expecting to be there - and yes Chuck'n I still recall that I owe you a bottle of Jameson.
yeah, yeah that's what you said last year too :P
The fact that I was laid out with the flu on departure morning '08 doesn't mean I'll miss this year as well. And, having auditioned for cast this year ... I wouldn't bet against me.

An excellent choice as always, Galway Hooker Pub in one direction, CRF in the other and both within an easy drive.
High'n, Pretty'n, Lady Heal'n and myself have already started planning the tailgate feast for that last weekend of CRF. The country ham will be back! (I'm referring to the kind you eat and not to a particular member of the M'Cracks.)
I'll also take this moment to remind everyone that ALL are invited to the tailgate. New and old, M'Crack and R/F, garb or mundanes for that day, please come and make the party even better.
Its after Labor Day so the annual CRF attendance tote board has been started.
Already have a mess of M'Crack names posted. Any changes please let me know.
Thanks

It was a dangerous mission, but my compliments to High'n and his lovely who visited the Galway Hooker to make sure we were good for Invasion Friday and Saturday nights.
They tasted the adult beverages, sampled the food and spoke with the Management. We have been assured that the center table will once again be ours for invasion weekend. A second line of tables along the front wall, still within earshot of the main table but a wee bit quieter (depending upon who is sitting there) has also been secured. Management has also been warned to order kegs of Guinness!
Well, reservations have been made and time off has been scheduled! Ready to roll ...

Men in kilts? That's a line you use with Lady Guinness ... for me it is a heavy dose of ale and wenches ...
Lewis Bicking aka LAIRDE HIGHE CHEEKTON Rimm M'Crack of the Clan M'Crack will be making his very first visit to the East Coast Chapters of the Clan M'Crack. Rimm will be leaving Texas in a few weeks and spending the weekend at CRF over the 20th, 21st and 22nd of November which as many of you already know is our Annual M'Crack Family Gathering at CRF.
I am asking a favor of all the members on the East Coast, if you have not already scheduled to attend and if at all possible that you make the trip to CRF for the M'Crack Family Gathering. If you can not visit for the whole weekend, try to make it for at least one day or for one of the gatherings at the Galway Hooker either Friday or Saturday nite. It would be great if each member or pet over the course of the weekend would take at least a moment to introduce yourself to the LHC.
It would be great to show LHC Rimm that we know how to gather on the East Coast and have a "Fun" time. I would like to see all the Banners from the different chapters make it to CRF that weekend as well. If the Chieftains can not bring them themselves please send them with someone who is planning to attend.
I really would like to see a strong gathering of the family known as Clan M'Crack, and I hope that you all at least consider my personal request for your attendance.
Thank you all and look forward to seeing many of you

There be 3 coming with me.. Friday night for sure, Sat at faire, but alas I do not think we can make faire on Sunday.
The tailgate will indeed be held in the VIP lot. Where else would you expect to see all our friends from R/F and the M'Cracks!
Look for the big white Nissan truck flying the Irish tri-color. Of course the large group of people in garb might give us away too! Or perhaps the largest gathering of saffron kilts this side of a St Patricks Day Parade.
Remember, and this is important, ALL ARE WELCOME!
The location for the group picture will be announced after Nov15th. High'n and I have to look for a spot that will hold the horde and meets with the managements approval.
Gentlemen of the Clan M'Crack: Saturday of the Invasion Weekend will be a saffron day. Sunday will be your choice. Those approved to wear the black may wish to consider it for Sunday.
I'm so excited Tink n' Belle are coming!!! I thought I had missed my chances to see you two this year! I'm so happy you both are able to make it all the way down here! This makes taking off work even more worth it! I can't wait to see you two!! I'm bouncing off the walls I needed something to cheer me up!!

Uh...well, it's alcohol, it'll do!
Since my Good and Gracious Lord had to leave, I find it hard to attend other faires. Yes I attended Virginia because I had to speak to some people in person about Ron. I owed them that. VARF was always good to both of us. Whether I attend in the future is question mark as I am still living one day at a time. Carolina was very near and dear to our hearts. We started visiting 5+ years ago. The trip was about 12 hours in part because of the pit stops we made to certain stores. Carolina was where we went to relax, enjoy some shows (mostly the "loose cannon" shows) and visit his favorite italian resaturant (a place we found "downtown". I dont think I could handle the drive or even faire by myself. The "little one" tried to get off work but couldn't. So my dear friends, Ron and I will be with you in spirit and hope that you have nothing but good company and goodtimes!
Lady Glorianna,
I know the road between our states well, even without the stops at certain stores along the way it is a long drive.
Just know that you both remain in our thoughts and prayers; and that you always have friends and family in Fairhaven of Carolina. Our doors are always open and we look forward to your next visit. Look for the candle in the window.
Lady Glorrianna - You will be in our thoughts, I wish we passed by your state on our way down, we would have been happy to pick you up. Its a 12 hour drive for us with no pits stops... so we know how that feels.
And never feel like you will be at faire alone...... there is always folks to hang out with, and you know so many from the board here.....that would be most honored to have thee join.
Outstanding weekend ... we had a great time. Thanks so much for our hosts ... excellent job!
How did I miss you Scotsman??
There were so many folks and yes thanks to the hosts for a great time.

many many thanks to all.

Tink, you and your lovely lady were a pleasant surprise! If all works out, we'll cross those mountains and join you in Kentucky for July 2010.
