Title: Sad night.
Post by: Fairyfly on November 27, 2008, 12:40:06 AM
My cousin's husband that's been fighting cancer for the past year or so, went into a coma this morning. Hospice was called and they said that he's in the process of passing away. They do not expect him to last the night. Do to the expense, the pain it put him in and the other side effects he stopped taking an experimental treatment a few months ago. He chose to instead of simply prolonging his life, he wanted to live the days he had left as best he could. Him and my cousin started going out dancing again when he felt better. At least he got to spend the time with her the way he wanted. He'll be leaving behind my cousin, her two sons from other marriages, and the son they just had together this past January. I simply ask for warm thoughts for an easy passing for him.

If you could also keep my house mate in your thoughts as well I'd appreciate it. She just got home from work and received an email that her cousin, who had also been fighting cancer, passed away this evening.

Thank you so much!

My Cousin's Husband passed the night before Thanksgiving at 6pm. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers!

My Gmom is now in a nursing home after being in the hospital all last week. She is not expected to come back out of the nursing home, nor to make it to the new year. Her cancer is back and spread into her rib cage. At this point she is beyond treatment and bed ridden. Please keep her in your thoughts.

*HUGS*
