Title: Happenings Book misprint? Ringling Medieval Fair
Post by: groomporter on December 17, 2008, 09:01:40 AM
The wife bought a 2009 "Happening's Book" of discount coupons at work recently and we stumbled on what we assume is a terrible misprint on coupon E171 It offers a buy-one-get-one-free admission coupon for

Minnesota Renaissance Festival
"Ringling Medieval Fair"
"3 miles south of Shakopee on 169"
"Weekends in February"

I contacted the MNRF office in case they weren't aware of it and was told that usually they have a coupon there for Festival and the Trail of Terror.

Yes, the one in Florida is scheduled in February.

But it's definitely not "3 Miles South of Shakopee".  If only Florida was this time of year!
I'm with Muffin....  Burr!  A girl would freeze her assets.  And no one likes that.

I've never heard it called "Ringling Medieval Faire" before.  Is that an official/unofficial name for MNRF?

I thought that was the name of the non-MAF Florida show in Sarasota, FL. But it's now listed at the bottom of the MAF website http://www.renaissancefest.com/ so maybe it's one they recently bought out?
