Most of you guys probably don't know me, but I'll be there. :)
I'll be "pseudo"-working at Fiona's Fineries like last year...but really, I'll be at the Pub with some of the nobles for some gambling. Heh.
I plan on being there. I go every year ! Just not sure which weekend yet. Probably will be either in september or october !
Gee golly, I just don't know if I'll be there this year....
For those who don't know me, I am absolutely joking. I'm a cast member and therefore practically live there from June-ish to October-ish. I happen to be one of those gambling nobles, but we might not be up at the pub this year, maddog...you'll have to come hunt us down again.
Until then!
Gambling's getting moved? Again? Well, I'll just have to keep my eyes open and my gold pouch close at hand.
Moved huh... this is Sussex's doing.
I'll only be there, maybe 2 weekends this year since the wife will be working CRF for the October part of the season.
The gambling isn't technically scheduled to be anywhere or at any time. Last year, we just figured out a when and where that fit into our day and gave us a litttle break somewhere to sit down. It might be around the same time and place but who knows. I hope I'll have the time to make it more often this year!
For those who are confused....a few of us noblesssss and assorted peasantry got together last year to play dice and gamble and whatnot. It got pretty big for awhile there and we'll hopefully be doing it again.
I agree though...moving it just to confuse the masses is something Sussex would do. ;)

I actually think my shirt is from Fiona's Fineries.
I'll be working at The Bee Folks. actually...I'll be living there too
Hey, a customer. :)
My fiancee (will be wife by the time faire starts) is the one that really works there. I help out by being the gofer. Hehe, can't beat having a chance to play on my way getting food/drink for the shop crew.
Any time during the season, just stop on by the shop and say hi to her/us. She goes by Kate and I go by Michael. We always like making new friends.
I've been thinking of going out there. I live in NY, but I may take a drive, depending on when everyone else is going.
but yeah, maddogg, i have the black sleeveless shirt
Season pass holder here - so we'll be there every weekend! YAY! Can't wait for the season to start...

We are planning 2 weekends this year - Sept 20 and closing ... plus Celtic Fling of course!
TimT and I are going to try to make it the weekend of the 20th. We have very special friends getting married that day.
who is getting married?

who is getting married?
Sept 20th Sir Oswyn and Lady Del La Warr are tying the knot!
Yup, tis true - two of our very own!
Needless to say, Lady Guinness and I are going to be there ... wouldn't miss it for the world!
I'm guessing the 20th is the invasion day sort of.
I haven't heard too much invasion news for this day ... I know they are keeping the wedding small ... but the pub afterward is going to be CRAZY!
Typically we come to PARF closing weekend - many of us MDRF folk like like to close you guys down for the year! And then we head on to CRF to shut them down!
Well...even if the wedding remains small, there's the after party 8) that anyone can be invited to

Scotsman beat me to the reply. We can't wait for the wedding. The princess is very excited to she "her Lady" getting married.
I'll be there! Weekend Sept 20th both days!
I'll be there for the Celtic Fling & Scottish weekend, for sure.
I'm sure I'll be up again during the regular season. :)
We plan on being there as often as possible... no definite dates yet, other than Celtic Fling, and Scottish Fling, of course.
See you there!
I was just given a personal invitation from some friends of mine at my home faire that I work with at VARF and at NCRF so I would would like to try to make at least a weekend or two if I can.

My Lords and Ladies...........yes Scotsman is correct. My beloved and I are being joined in matrimony Sept 20th. And yes we must keep the wedding small due to cost considerations so it will be family and close friends at the actual wedding. We do wish things could be different and we could have you ALL, but alas the purse is screaming as it is.
However, beeboy is also correct........we would LOVE to have an invasion that weekend so we can have an after party where any and all are welcomed to attend at the pub and throughout the faire that could possibly be unlike anything ever before!!
Glad to see that Guard'n is planning on coming to the wedding though.......I have a mission for him.........should he choose to accept it (Guard'n we'll talk at VARF OK?)
Now that's out of the way.......we have season passes to both MDRF and PARF so we will most likely alternate between the two the entire season since they run at the same time.

See what happens when you're not on the forums due to school! I knew nothing about this.
Congratulations Lady Del La Warr and Sir Oswyn!!! It's always been a pleasure to see you two together at faire and now I know I'll have to try to make this weekend to be able to raise a booming HUZZAH to the happy couple!
As for my PARF schedule, there's no dates set in stone (except now to do my best to make the wedding weekend) but I'll be there a day here and there when I can!
We certainly hope you can make it Lady Caria. It will be a pleasure to share the day with you! :)
And many thanks for the congrats!

Dirtfarmer..........I certainly hope that you and Her Majesty are planning a visit on Sept. 20th at least???
I'll be there almost every weekend. A recently new tradition for me (this will be my 3rd season). I don't know if anyone would know me ... I'm just a patron - I hang out at the Swashbuckler most of the day with the Cardinal and the Viking.
JeannieMac - if you see any of us please be sure to seek us out! We'd love to meet you!
Most of us have R/F pins so be keeping an eye out! We'll look for you too - however some of us have ......... let's say diminishing vision......as the day wears on! LOL!! :)
Some friends and I were actually talking about this last night! Depending on my work schedule, we might try to make it out to PA this year but we're not sure of the date yet. If the trip can be made, there will be four of us...
Deborah - same goes for you! If you see one of us please DO say hello! :)
Ulfric and I may attend first weekend or closing weekend. Our football schedule starts to get in the way.
Okay ... we have modified in adition to Celtic Fling, Sept 20th we will also be the Oct 4 and Closing weekend Oct 24/25.
I have heard such wonderful things about this show... I really wish I could fit it into my schedule.
:(
Lairde Guard'n and Peddlin will also be there for the wedding......
Who is getting married?
please count Ladies Selwyn (mellingera), Taylor (taylorl76), and Long for at least closing weekend! Huzzah!
Wow another M'Crack wedding huh.Our clan is becoming famous for weddings nowadays.Anyway my dear Queen Anne and Good Sir Oswyn I Sir Henry Wriothsley wish you both nothing but the best as you are to unite as one.Your majesty as your faithful and humble servant I stand before you a very proud man as my Queen in sueth will be sharing her life with the one that she loves.Man it makes me jealous. ;D LOL joking seriously you two may you both share many years of happiness for the rest of your lives. :)
We are going to try for the last weekend - if we are lucky maybe one other.
Henry Berkeley - by character
Dan - by name
I'm planning to come down for the wedding, and maybe once or twice more if possible. I'll have to see what my work schedual looks like.
My plan is to make it one day per weekend for most weekends. Normally, I too can be found hanging out at the Swashbuckler for a portion of the day.
Great Day about how many pubs does PARF have in it.I'm not saying having alot of pubs is a bad thing but i am just curious as to how many they have.
I'm planning for opening day (the whole weekend if I can schedule a vacation day for Monday, so I can recover. ;) ) And I've already got things set up to attend both days on closing weekend. Now to come up with some cash ....

I may miss something but they have the Swashbuckler Pub (next to the pirate ship), there is a teeny bar on the other side of the building. Also, a smaller building that sells adult beverages down the hill - but it doesn't really have seating...

The smaller building you are referring to I believe is the Checkered Knight Wine Bar which sells wine and wine punches. There is also the O'Malley's Pour House with beer and wine, The Swashbuckler Public House next to the Boars Head stage which MAY be serving alcohol this season, and possibly another small bar by the Endgame Stage - those are both new locations for this season from what I've heard and may not actually be serving yet. But, the main bars are O'Malley's and Swashbuckler (where there are actually several different service areas and lots of seating).
Okay just so i can get a good feeling for when i come to PARF which is the more popular pub Swashbucklers or O'Malley's. Which of the two pubs does more business during the faire season?
I would have to say Swashbucklers.
What would be the best drink that yall (The M'Cracks would suggest i get) at the Swashbucklers Pub.
I plan to be there for Opening and Closing Saturdays, September 20th and 27th, and a few other Saturdays to be determined. Look for me and the Renaissance Bubble Machine near the circular garden/fountain in front of the Main Gate. Stop by to say hello............. Felix

My favorite is the Swashbuckler Gold ... but that is just me. Avoid the Pumpkin (seasonal)! It gives me wicked gas.
Thanks for the warning Scotsman the last thing we want to see is a M'Crack with mad gas. ;D So does this mean that things like pumpkin pie give you as you like to say wicked gas to. ;D
We may come to PARF this year, for a first time visit. Not sure of dates, as of yet.
irish ;D
I will definitely be there on opening weekend; I've also planned for one additional day in August. I have two weekends each in September and October open for PARF, but at least one of four will be spent at the MDRF, since I've never been.
Well Alisoun September 20th two of the Clan M'Crack family members will be getting married at PARF if you would like to attend for that.I know that will be an awesome ceremony.
:o :o :o
Opening weekend is only a few weeks away? Been so busy I haven't had time to even think about it.
I suspect I will be there at various weekends all season with members of the brood. Not sure which weekends yet but gotta make use of the season passes.
I can't wait until Sunday - that's our Meet the Cast Party! And then it'll be only 6 short days until the season begins! HUZZAH!
The only weekend we won't be at PARF will be Sept 27/28 because my brother-in-law is getting married out in Western PA and we'll be there all weekend for the festivities. That's Oktoberfest weekend so no biggie for us to miss out.
See ya' all pretty soon!
The Family and I will be going most of the weekends (Seasons Pass holders). We'll definitely be there for Opening. We're only going to say till mid afternoon though as I have a Disaster Recovery exercise at Sungard in Philly scheduled at Midnight... :'(
Oh if you're curious, I've posted the photos from the Cast Picnic on my gallery (http://gallery.efamilynj.org/v/events/events2k8/PARF2K8/PARF2K801/).

So, Mike, does this mean you won't be at Faire on Sunday now? :'(
Delores:
No, we'll be there Sunday but we'll be leaving mid afternoon. That way I can get a few hours of shut eye before I head back to work at Midnight.

Plans are made for the 20th! I'll be bringing my sister (garbed for the first time, only her second time at faire) and a faire virgin (and working on garbing him as well!!)! Oh how I love faire virgins!
Well, I'll finally get a chance to make my first of only two trips up the year, this weekend. I'm looking forward to seeing some friendly faces that I did not have the opportunity to see earlier this year!

we were thinking of making the trip on the 20th. will there be any sort of meet-and-greet stuff? and what day/time is the wedding?
Lady Guinness and I have to back out of the Oct 4th date - we will still be there Sept 20th and closing weekend.
I have heard tell of a meet and greet for the Friday of the 19th but for the life of me can not remember where it was to be held.....I figured I would find out once it got closer...
Here ya go Laird Guardn...
Lancaster Brewing Company, Friday September 19th for some "unofficial" wedding doings and a very good time. We plan to start funnelling in sometime around 7 pm or so. If you get there early, fine. If you get there late, fine. This is nothing official and nothing is carved in stone so show up when you feel like it.
Here's the address and phone number of Lancaster Brewing Company:
302 N. Plum Street
Lancaster, PA 17602

I could probably go to the meet n greet if I don't have to work that day and somebody could swing by the faire to pick me up. Not having a car makes it hard to go to Lancaster
message me if you could swing by
Hey everyone! I'll be there on Sept. 20th, my guy in tow as well as Vampy {hopefully}, her guy, and two of my other friends.
Right now this is the list of the Clan M'Crack members that plan to be there on the 20th
Lairde Guard'n M'Crack
Peddlin M'Crack
Prod'n M'Crack
Pokin M'Crack
Jade'n M'Crack
Smack'n M'Crack
Flattin M'Crack
Alone'n M'Crack
Stroke'n M'Crack
Bee'n M'Crack
Fae'n M'Crack
Snuggl'n M'Crack
Dark'n M'Crack
Shake'n M'Crack
My family and I won't be there next weekend at all because of my brother-in-law's wedding which is in our near Penn State in Central PA. That's the only weekend we'll be missing.
The remainder of the season we'll be going both Saturdays and Sundays (although on Sundays we leave at around 4pm because of my daughters having school on Monday).
I will see you all the last three weekends of faire. Most likely a full day on Saturday and most of the day Sunday. I'm still deciding about the last day. Last year I took off from work so I could stay through the finale on Sunday. (hmmm... 8th graders or last day of faire ...)
