I'd love to be able to place a banner advertising this site on my various webpages, but I'm not having any luck finding one. I know that they exist...I've seen a few...just can't remember where, or I'd just steal there code and re-link it.
Help...please.
For myspace, you do this:
<a href="URL_OF_SITE_HERE"><img src="URL_OF_IMAGE_HERE"></a>
Make sure you put http:// in the url. not www.
Here's a banner I got by just doing a screen shot of the main page
(http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee199/Katiebugsey/renaissancefestival.jpg)
you can use that ^ for the "URL OF IMAGE" by plugging in the "direct link" http://s233.photobucket.com/albums/ee199/Katiebugsey/?action=view¤t=renaissancefestival-1.jpg
Nice idea Tammy. I think I might have to get one for my myspace and facebook sites :)
Thanks Bugsey!!
Though, I've seen one...somewhere...that has some of the members avatars that flash or scroll. I'd like that one....
That one was on the old site. I'm not sure if it's posted here. but somebody will have a copy.

I couldn't get it to work - kept getting "terms of service violation" in the place where I plugged in the link.

probably just missed a piece of the code or something
copy and paste what's below, that should be right
<a href="http://renaissancefestival.com"><img src="http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee199/Katiebugsey/renaissancefestival-1.jpg"></a>
Here's the one I took off the old site:
<a href="http://www.msplinks.com/MDFodHRwOi8vd3d3LlJlbmFpc3NhbmNlRmVzdGl2YWwuY29tLw==">
<img src="http://www.RenaissanceFestival.com/images/renbanner.gif" border="1" alt="Renaissance Festival" />
</a>
It alternates between the blue Renfest.com script and faire photos of members.
Edit Add: I knew there was another thread for this. http://www.renaissancefestival.com/forums/index.php?topic=819.0
Shows the banners and gives directions to use them!
Thank you SO much Leyla!! That was exactly what I was wanting!! I knew I had come across that thread before, but I couldn't find it the other day.
