So, I just got some rather strange but exciting news from my parents. They just bought a house in Mesa! Okay, not so much a house, but a little 1 bedroom trailer home in an RV park that they plan to use for their winter retirement days. They take possession of it March 20th....and said Karlie and I can use it any time we want. And the best part? It's only 12 miles away from fest! ;D

Now, the next hurdle would be getting down there on the cheap. I'll be looking at airfare the next couple days to see if we can manage a trip down this year. Too bad they couldn't have managed to find this sooner; would have loved to come down with everyone else.

Well, we're hoping, anyway. Definitely looking good for next year, but this year will be determined depending on airfare, able to get time off, etc. I'm hoping my parents will drive down and leave one of their cars down there so we don't have to rent a car too. :)

That's wonderful news! You and Nyte will have no need for a car though in case that's a worry. Plenty of people here will be glad to escort you two. Just let us know when to pick you up at the airport.

Ack...I may have jinxed my plans by discussing them too soon. Not looking too promising. Airfare is waaaaay over what we can afford right now. Unless we find some amazing last minute deal, we'll probably not be maing it down there after all. :-\
