Title: Camping at KyHRF
Post by: WindChime on May 15, 2008, 10:56:43 PM
Hi
This will be my very first time camping at this festival or any festival since I am a new vendor here.  I am curious as what to excpect from the other campers. It has been almost 10 years since I last went camping and that was at a campground where they had so many rules that it almost killed all the fun one could have. Any answers are welcome.
Thanks :-*

Last year they DID have rules...  Their are nearby homes that didn't appreciate the drum circles so I believe they had cut those off at 10.  Other than that, use common sense and respect the grounds and other campers.

Of course, this was last year...it could have changed.

Best to go look at their site www.kyrenfaire.com .  They have an info page with nearby camping and accommodations listed there.

I believe the nearest hotel(s) are in Shelbyville, about 10 miles away. I could be wrong, though.

Yeah, that sounds about right.  There's one bed and breakfast in New Castle...but that's it as far as I know.
