The Pimp is playing this evening on TCM.  You know those Frenchies are seeking him everywhere because he's demmed elusive.

The 1930's Leslie Howard version, which is the only one I've ever seen.  I see a DVD quest in my future.

IMHO this is the best version, although the newer (1982) version with Anthony Andrews is quite passable.

I love that movie!  So good... -sigh- If I had back all the hours of my life that I have spent watching TCM and AMC (pre-commercials) I'd be a lot younger! ;)  But a good deal more ignorant!
