Post by: VIII on April 08, 2009, 05:20:41 PM
Who would you like to see from this Forum interviewed by King Henry VIII on the Reveller's Stage at the end of parade?

Who among those listed wasn't there opening weekend? I could have sworn I saw all of them.

Queen Bonnie would be fun.  I don't think John usually comes more than opening weekend.... though I'll leave it up to him to answer that.

Ya, if you chose one of the Stalkwell's, he could be calling the "Royal Painters" and have a discussion on their latest work and commissioning a painting of his coronation or something... VERY FUNNY!

So that's it!  We tried and wondered if maybe I should have caught your ear during the morning sometime.  Bonnie would be too much fun as an interview subject (or her evil twin, for that matter).

I caught the tail end of the Post-parade proclamation/interview on Saturday, and I didn't see hardly any Patrons there, non-costumed or otherwise.  I think the powers-that-be need to publicize the event a little better.  This is our 5th year in attending Scarby, and did not find out about this event until last year.

VIII, I would like to humbly apologize for the drummers to the Court & beg Your Majesty's forgiveness for not stopping our rhythm sooner today during the parade.  We were all ready to stop when passing the Reveler's Stage, but alas, no King or Court was there to be seen!  None of us knew that the Post-Parade Proclamation had been moved to the Brothers Stage.  We stopped as soon as we saw Your Majesty standing on the Brothers Stage.  We are but visitors from far away places to your lovely village, and are not yet wise in the ways of the Court ;)

To avoid this next weekend, could Your Majesty please let us know what the Royal Post-Parade plans are for next weekend?  I know the re-coronation is Sunday.  Will Saturday be the same as today?  If Your Majesty can let me know, I will spread the word.

How about this.

Henry the VIII will interview a person dressed like a cliche tourist, complete with mickey mouse hat with ears and a camera which they flash in his eyes.

Regards,

CB

No apologies are necessary.  We were reviewing the parade for the audience, and we will be on the Brother's Stage for the remainder of the run.
