As some of you know, I have been training for a bike ride, the BP MS150, since about January. This ride is why I missed opening weekend at Scarby this year (sorry Jessica!). Well, it's finally here! This weekend, April 18 and 19, I will be riding about 180 miles from Houston to Austin! I'm really hoping I make it without needing to hop on any of the assistance vehicles...the most I've been able to do is 120 miles in 2 days.
If you would like to read about my training, take a look at this link...

I'm hoping to take pictures during the ride and I'll put a link up to them on that page as well. Think about me on my ride and hey, if you're an Austinite, let me know and I'll tell you where you might be able to see me limp across the finish line!
Here's to you finding the juice for the other 60 miles. >cheers<
I can't imagine that there is any bike riding advise I could possibly give you to make the trek better that you don't already know. I will say, remember that it's your brain that controls all parts of the body. Pain, boredom, anxiety, all that stuff. Turn all that negative stuff positive and remember that you have a whole lot of good wishes in your tailwind helping you along.

Sending wishes for extra wind in yer sails, m'lady! Huzzah! ;D
HUZZAH! You can do it. :) Here's some xtra energy coming your way. We are all there with you! :)
Good luck mi'lady, we are all rooting for you. And I for one am a bit envious of the will power that you have.
Due to the rain and winds that came thrrough Texas and how badly they hit La Grange, the first day of the MS150 has been cancelled :( Second day should go on, just not sure how, yet.
