he he, oh we do miss you dear tinker so much, we are counting the days! We should be there each weekend, and are always happy to assist in any manner when ever it is. We do think however, that the invasion maybe should be the third week or after. We think this only because it takes that long for all the acts to get to ORF because of the overlap with Bristol. Maybe the third weekend every year! What say you Ohio R/Fers, what say all?

R & B, it will be sooo good to see the both of you again. but wait'n till OHRF open's is quite a ways away. how bout come'n down to KYHRF this summer. check out the thread on KYHRF. they have some great entertainment bands come'n - Albannach and Tartanic. two of the best Celtic/ Highland music you can hear. please let us know if thee decides to visit the Bluegrass.
and as they(R & B) say, with there great info, the third weekend does sound good. Hmm, wonder due to be'n pirate weekend, will Stench Pitt (alter ego of Old Tinker) and Lotta Lily (Belle's alter ego) show? :o one never knows ;)

Not much activity on here as of late. Matters not, I've booked my hotel for that weekend!
Since the kid's baseball tournaments have me booked every weekend in July and leading into August, I doubt I'll be able to get to a faire before September. So much for starting on "Garb #2 - Pirates".

good man SNS, Tink here, you should know whats up with me Belle and me --- KYHRF---- we been fest'n. were have'n a great season down here in the bluegrass, just two more weekends left. just last weekend was the M'Crack Family Gather'n, and there was a bunch of'us, about 50 or so. me Belle and me were only able to attend Sat., due to our office be'n on-call, (well at least me's finagled of the Sat.).
been a while since last seen. we also plan to make the OHRF R/F Invasion and the last weekend of OHRF.

I have a friend getting married on the 19th, and I'm in the wedding, so I won't be present that day (unless I can work attending around the wedding, since I'll already be in garb, as the wedding is Ren themed, and at Cowan Lake, so relatively nearby). But, I'm going to try to get the whole weekend off so I can be at Faire on Sunday! ^.^

Yes, I'm already dead. Right now I'm in that phase where I'm simultaneously feeling "YEAH! Only 7 more weeks until fair!" and "OH HOLY CRAP! There's only 7 more weeks until fair!" You have to be a vendor to feel the latter.
Oh wonderful! I love that the invasion is on pirate weekend. I will definitely be there, unless something unexpected happens. I also expect to be there the weekend after for Albannach!

me Belle and me just want'd to thank everyone for a great day at OHRF. saw many friends and made a few more. noth'n like go'n back to our old stomp'n grounds.

I greatly apologize to anyone I didn't get to see!
Papa Tink and Mama Belle convinced us to come in for a few hours on Saturday, but we had to dash back to the hotel at 1 to get the wedding present and get to the site of the wedding on time. We were going to cut out right after the ceremony and try to make it back to Faire before closing gates, but, alas, as a bridesmaid, I had to be present for pictures and such...by the time that was all said and done, it was 5:30 or 6, and we'd not have had the time to return before everyone was gone. Seated at the "High Table" at the reception, this Irish lass was beaten into the ground by the setting sun (someone should have planned a little better).
Sunday, the rain and overall "I feel like crapness" kept us from returning. D=
I will be returning next month, and (now that I've got a new job, that pays better, with M-F training for the first five weeks!) it'll hopefully be more than once next month that I get to make my way through the gates again.
Sunday's rain timing and the exhaustion of Saturday afternoon (and Saturday night) left us feeling spent by Sunday morning. And, to top things off, a certain "toiletries" bag was left at home. Arrrrr! We had nothing to work with. We too made the crawl back home and missed Sunday. That being said, we still have our other two tickets so we will come down again in mid October.
