Ooooooh, the costumes ;D.
Johnny Depp creeps me out in this one, more so than his Sweeney Todd character, and I thought he couldn't top that one.
I love the Red and white Queens' outfits. Reminds me of something from the Moresca Fairy collections.

I can't imagine anyone more perfect than Tim Burton to make this movie ~ everything he does has a sort of hallucinatory other worldly-ness to it.
I'm excited to see it ;D
I will be seeing this one for sure!.
I see Mr Burton is also looking at remaking Dark Shadows....With Depp in the lead role as vampire Barnabus Collins.
Whoa..
:o

LOL Depp freaked me out as Willy Wonka...
Johnny Depp is one of Tim Burton's favorite actors to work with...
Ed Wood
Edward Scissorhands
Sleepy Hollow
Corpse Bride(voice)
Charley and The Chocolate Factory
Sweeny Todd
I will have to see this one for sure!!! Especially for the Costumes. Which will be popular at Sci/Fi Conventions in the coming years. I will surely have to make this one.
Helena Bonham Carter looks fab as the Red Queen. She's been in a number of Burton's films too.
I wonder how she and Burton like working together and being married...they are the cutest/strange couple
Gorgeous! Anne Hathaway looks stunning as the White Queen!
Some one please save me a spot in line! :D :D
I am considering my version of the Red Queen. Keeping with the original, buit adding my own touches.
I like Alice's clothes and have her ric-rac skirt on my to do list for steampunk garb. :)

Oh, heck yeah!! I loved the original in the 60's.....I had broken my leg and was in traction in the hospital. Goth daytime TV....
Really hope Burton goes thru with this one. And can't wait to see Alice in Wonderland!
As much as I'm usually not a fan of Tim Burton (mostly because I'm not a fan of HBC), I am actually looking forward to this movie. Too bad it's so far off.

I made my own version for last Halloween, and then used the same costume to be her at the Fairytale Ball in OKC. And then I played the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland last month in a different costume. Here's me as both versions:
my own costume:

Awesome, Lady Rebecca!!! Very original and Stunning!
I am going for on this future project is something that combines a little Elizabethan with Victorian. Otherwise, perfect for the Steampunk look!
BUMPING this to add the trailer: http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1616873/20090724/story.jhtml?rsspartner=rssYahooNewscrawler
I'd like to see Helena not playing a crazy person.
Amen to that. I feel like every role she does is exactly the same.
she wasnt EXACTLY crazy in Big Fish... just... eccentric!
