I've seen that they have them for sale with the online tickets but was wondering if you can purchase them at the gate and how much they are if you get them there. Thank you in advance for any and all help.
Yes, you can get them at gate but I am unsure of the price. I haven't needed to buy one in a few years and am sure costs have gone up.
Here is the email that I got back from MNRF staff for season passes this year.
Hello ----!
Renaissance Festival Season Passes are $74.95 per person this year. This is the same amount as they were last year.
Please let me know if you'd like to purchase any, and I'd be happy to fill out the form and get it out to you!
Thanks!

Thank you both for your help! I do have one more question though, does anyone know if passes are transferable? Like, can I get one but someone else use it if I choose not to go one day?

They are not. They can only be used by the person that purchased them. When you get a season pass, you area basically prepaying for tickets. Each day you attend faire, you need to go to the ticket booth and present them with a photo ID (driver's license), and then they give you your ticket for the day, and mark it off their list that you've attended that day.
I completely understand the reason for requiring photo ID for your season pass tickets but you'd think they could come up with a better means of control. Standing in line to get your ticket (which you've already paid for) then standing in line to get in seems a poor way to thank a loyal customer.
You got a point.
Thank you all for the help!
They should really think about putting this on the website. :-\

I hear you! I got a season pass last year for Christmas. They found out I was employed and wouldn't let me get my tickets or a refund. One of the few times I was really angry...seriously, it was paid for and they wouldn't refund the person, yet they wouldn't let me have the tickets because I worked there and may give them to someone else. I understand controlling them, but at the same time, I think they should send you one ticket per day and if you lose them, it's your fault, if you give them to someone else, whatever. It happens anyway I'm sure...ok, off my soap box.
I know as far as transferrable goes, they finally in the last two weekends made an exception and allowed me to transfer the pass to a person of my choice. It was a one time deal though...only that person was allowed to get the tickets from then on out. Basically, if you don't use it, you lose it.
I recall Bristol used to give the Season holders a nice pewter badge made by Nagel Forge.
Would this be plausible or just way off the mark?
You purchase your season passes, well in advance. The faire then sends you your tickets with specific weekend dates already stamped on them. 1 ticket for each day of the run. You are now responsible for your own tickets. Use them, share them, whatever. I should think that a used ticket, no matter who is using it, brings more money into the fair than an idle ticket on someones dresser.
Your thoughts?
At least this way you have only to stand in 1 line. OR they should allow season ticket holders to go thru the "pet gate" since the line is much shorter.

That was terrible.
Hey, I had to beat Noble Dreg to it! :D
Mad Jack and Noble Dreg in a race to the bottom. It doesn't matter who gets there first, you're both idiots for playing. :D LOL :D

About time someone got down here. It has been very lonely down here. :(
Any particular bottom, or do I get to pick? ;D
Oh geez, are we going to start rumours already?!? :-* ::)
Hey, are you guys making pre-season "passes"?
;D
Man the jokes get worse and worser!! I do agree with ya MG. It would be more convenient to not hafta wait in line twice. I do hafta admit I am quite surprised that the price did not go up this year so at least that's a plus!

That way you know what they are about and what is being said. ;) ;D
Hey, it worked for Blackbeard, Wyatt Earp, and Mae West! :D
Okay bringing this topic back round to the beginning again...
Being that Toar and I are going to be working at Fest this season and no longer need the season passes we purchased at the end of season last year, I inquired and found out I can transfer these passes. There is some jumping through hoops to do so on my part but if there is anyone looking for passes...please renmail me.
*update* Sold!
