We didn't sign up for FF this year... seeing as we have a mortgage now I just couldn't spare the dough... I am sad to be missing the press party though. :(

'Allo!  Don't mind me, I'm new here.  Anybody got, oh, details?  New food, new entertainment, anything?  ;D

Oh for heaven's sake quityerbitchin' already.

New food:
Kabobs:, chicken or steak with onion and bell pepper; served with pita bread, tsaziki sauce and sour cream.
What did we think?  Liked this a lot.  The meat was tender, the veggies were grilled but still crisp.  The bread was soft and the sauce had nice flavor.
Would I buy again?  YES

Ravioli with red or alfredo sauce:  Pasta looked over cooked.  Sauce was thin and not appetizing.
What did we think?  We didn't actually try this one.  Couldn't get past the look of it.

Beef stroganof:  Beef slices and gravy served over large twisty noodles.
What did we think?  Meh.  The beef was very tender but the gravy was thin and tasteless even after peppering to "sneeze" levels.  The noodles were far too large for the sauce and seemed like they were used to bulk up the dish to make it worth the price.   It was served piping hot-would be nice on a cold day.
Would I buy again?  Doubt it

Strawberry shortcake:  Strawberry slices served over pound cake covered in whip cream.
What did we think?  Strawberries were fresh and looked beautiful, tasted good.  Cake was your standard frozen pound cake.  An abundant amount of whipped cream.   It's tough to go wrong with this dish.  It was tastey and refreshing.
Would I buy again?  Maybe

Cupcakes:  Chocolate, red velvet, key lime, lemon (?)
What did we think?  Cake portion, of the one we tried, was a bit dry.  Frosting was overly sweet.  They were presented well, served cool.  Craving sweet?  This would certainly fulfill your craving.
Would I buy again?  Doubt it  (I'm a dessert snob)

Roast beef sandwich on pretzel bread:  Thin slices of roast beef served on what looked like a crusty style salted bread.  Looks like a slight variation on the beef on weck from last year.
What did we think?  We didn't try this but saw many others eating it.  Seemed the bread was dry and difficult to eat as a sandwich.  The meat portion was plentiful but I can not say as to the taste.
Would I buy it?  Probably, just skip the bread part.

Appetizer sampler:  This one looked a bit odd.  It looked like a couple of chicken nuggets, some chips, and mozz sticks.  We didn't try this one but what we saw did not look appetizing.  Perhaps it was because the portions were smaller for the event.

Did not see any "new" shows but there were a few shows going on for the event.

Drink:  We did have Shell's Oktoberfest!  Whoot!

Can't tell you anything else-this post screen is being odd.

"Drink:  We did have Shell's Oktoberfest!  Whoot!"

Very drinkable, but can I have one if it didn't come from our local beer wench's?  I suppose if I got it at Mac's it'd be ok.

LOVE stroganof! (can a guy suffer wench-mouth?)

I think we do have a lovely beer wench at Mac's...  Charlotte Rowan was hoping to be assigned there!  *fingers crossed!*

Glad I could help, Mad Jack.  Sorry I didn't have more info for you but apparently this system doesn't like long posts since the screen went all wonky when I got to the cupcakes.  *shrug*  Oh well, it's better than not at all.
