If funds permit, we're going to come up for Final Weekend! Just wanted to see who else we should watch for while we're there!
Lord and Lady Nitestar
I hope to be there depending on funds.
Yeah, I am working on Fest Friday . . . might be attending as well depending on weather.
Yep, of course I'll be there! :)
I'll be there. Fest Friday is my favorite day of the year there! I'll be there on Saturday too.
I'll be there! I have to open at Heart & Sole that Friday and Saturday. ;D
I usually attend the last weekend, also. But not Fest Friday, not my cup O tea.
I will be there on Sunday only.
Love Fest Friday, not sure if I'm working it but I will be there either way!
Sir Morgan and I will be there that last Saturday. We've already got our tickets and our hotel room reserved ;D.
Of course I'll be there!
Please know that you'll find a goodly number of us R/F peoples in "the orbit". that's a semi-circular pattern between the Foaming Stein and the Mead Booth. With occassional comets sent off towards Mac's Pub, the Chess board, Macgregor Games, Willing Soles (Now called Harte and Soles).
I'll be there all 3 days, camping out too.
Depending on money I'll be there on Fest Friday with the young'ens.
M'Lady and I will be there all 3 days. I'll be hawking in the narrows.

Moi new? Just for that I'll have to stop by and pester you Labor Day weekend*grin*.
I am looking forward to that day for the sales as I need to get a new wedding ring as mine slipped off my finger at work about a month ago and hasn't been seen since*pout*
We'll be there all three days.
I will be there final weekend!!!! This will be my FIRST TIME EVER at this faire!!! I'm sooooo excited!!! I will be playing with my dear long lost sister and brother in-law Lilly&Willy in the mornings and helping my dear friend Ron at his shop Austin Fine Arts Jewelry in the afternoons so PLEASE stop and say Ciao!
Oh... and I am soooooooooooooo looking forward to COOL temps....
I'll be there for the first time as well - so excited!
I'm hoping I won't be there for fest Friday due to a part time job I should hear back about this week. ::)
The Earl and I plan to attend both days of the Final weekend.
September just started and we're talking about the final weekend already?? Don't rush things too quickly!
Is there going to be a get-together before faire of R/F members on final weekend? Last time we were able to attend there was a breakfast, so wanted to check on that.
Lord and Lady Nitestar
We won't make it this year, the washer went and now the hubby's car is acting up. Have fun everyone.

Depends if we can muster up enough people??
We're game to try again!
Sir Morgan and I will be there that weekend... Saturday for sure and possibly Sunday. We're game for a get together.
Saturday and Sunday I'll be adorned with my new digs ;)
Welcome to all the newbies coming the last weekend. Better late than never.
We will be there at least one of the days. Not sure which day yet.
We will be attending Saturday only, and will be in our new Musketeer Garb!
Lord and Lady Nitestar
Festival Fridays are mostly for the School kids. We went last year and did not have a good of time being that more than half the Food Booths and merchants were closed.
However, the Earl and I will be in attendance 27 September and 4 October. That will make 4 trips to Faire this year for us.

I just bought a super capacity (4.0 cu) Maytag washer at Home Depot for $598. It is worth every penny. (and the matching 7.0cu dryer was only $398!)
Just sayin'
Had a blast last year at Fest Friday playing Lord Fondlebottom, the kids didn't know what to think. This year I hope to be more "interactive". hehe.
its a llong way for just one day... sunday ???

We bought a maytag from sears at about the same price and thats what ate up the rest of the fair budget for the year plus with the hubbys car needing a new a battery at $200 (never buy newer used cadillac without a service plan from h*ll) it ate anything of renewed hope for coming down. Oh well, theres always next year. Have a few for me everyone.
I've never yet made Fest Friday, and it doesn't look like it's in the cards for this year either. Wayyyy too much going on at work. :( BUT I will be out there both Saturday and Sunday of closing weekend.
I won't be out Fest Friday but I will be there the rest of the weekend! :D
This will be my first Fest Friday, and I'll be there Saturday for sure.
We'll be kidless Friday and Saturday. Panda and I will be Kurtless for most of Sunday (his work just figured out - and I mean this morning - that the TC marathon is this Sunday - Kurt had asked for the whole weekend off months ago and now they say he *must* work Sunday morning)

crappy!!
Rune and I will be there Saturday for sure. We might have some newbies in tow too. If they come, we're going to dress them in some of our extra garb so they get the full faire experience ;)

You mean there are other people that are tiny enough to fit into YOUR clothes?!? ;) :-*
After looking at the weather channel it doesn't look like a fun weekend :(
Just my luck. Can't be worse than opening TN weekend this year, though. Or can it?
dont' say that! Think shiney thoughts! Think anti-rain dance! Think not too windy! Please!!
Cold, I can deal. Let it be cold. Bring it on. But cold and dry-please!!!

I hope not! We don't have any plantations here to visit. Friday looks to be the worst day of the whole weekend.
*Thinks shiny happy dry thoughts*

Yes! Well... She's got a bit bigger tracks of land but, doesn't everyone? ;)
<Does the sunshine dance!!> Sunny, dry, sunshiness!!
You know ... Scarby had snow on opening weekend a few years back. And it was certainly cold enough for more snow second weekend. I eventually thawed out. =)
That being said, I'm venturing from the crisp fall here in Colorado to visit for closing weekend. I'll try to bring some sun.
I'm thinking it is a great kilt and long sock kind of weekend. With undershirt. and a thermos of coffee. with Baileys . . .
I think I am starting to look forward to this weekend!
I got Saturday approved off! Hello 3 day weekend!
Looks like Dan and I should make it out for most of the day on Sunday.
We just have to wait until church is over at 10:30 to leave. So hopefully we will be there by noon and spend the rest of the day playing one last time.

Nooooo.... I'm cold just thinking about it!
Or is that because the heat isn't on in the office yet?
Ok, ok no snow...I'll just order a blizzard then just for you Jack. ;)
Pralines are one of my favorite treats!
Great, now I want ice cream.

By the way, we've got 6 copies of the "Love & Destiny" books that came out early this year that featured our 16th Century French cards. They're available for $10 and we're tossing in a copy of the deck of cards.

I picked up a 22 cup pot and 3Gallons of Cider.
Well it is official I shall be there, with the kidlings, and a good friend who will be in street clothes...only cause I have yet to get her in garb. We should be on site around 11:00 am give or take a bit. Not sure how long we'll stay it depends on the weather.
Our plans have changed... :(
The Earl suffered an injury, a nasty Hamstring pull, that has sidelined him for a while. We will not be able to attend Closing Day :( We are both bummed.
Have a wonderful Closing weekend everyone. Take losts of pictures to share.
Tell the Earl best wishes from me on getting better soon. You'll be missed.
If anyone is still thinking about staying in town for the weekend. I just booked a hotel on priceline, bid $30 and got a room at homestead (http://www.homesteadhotels.com/minisite/?hotelID=33) (total is $41 with taxes and fees). Yay for not having to drive home Saturday and being able to get in early on Sunday!
:( Our plans have changed as well. We are moving this weekend instead to a bigger apartment that has opened up. Soooo that takes precedence over faire. Hope everyone has fun and stays warm and dry.

Oh pooh! Can't make it, no funds.. Wanna wish all that can go a fun closing weekend!
I shall be there though my pretty shiny clothes will not! ;D
Drove all day today, rained most of it. We'll be there Sat/Sun.
I take it I won't have to worry about parking there due to the weather.
GREAT NEWS!!! The Earl's injury is feeling better!! We are making Closing Day on Sunday after all!!! We will try to take our time as we mosey all over the grounds.
On Saturday, we have tickets to the second to the last Twins game at the HHH. Should be a good one. That will make 7 games I have been to this season. We bought a partial Home Season Ticket package. Next year as well.
OK who was it on Fest Friday that let me know that I had left my mug on the top of the car? It was about 3:30ish pm and I know I saw the R/F badge on your garb. Just curious and wanted to say thanks.
Went and had a great time! Saw some old friends, made some new ones, can't wait to do it all again!
Hope everyone had a great Faire Time!
Lord and Lady Nitestar
PS...
Everyone have a Happy Halloween!!!
Will be out Sunday around noon for the day. Should be a good day for passing the flask. Will have Amber to share. Looks like no rain so all is good.

Me I think. I didn't see who was in the car, and I hadn't noticed the glass. I did however hear someone yelling that you'd left it on top of the car and I was close enough to catch up and mime drinking and point at your roof. :D Glad you didn't lose it!
Thanks Leyla for pointing it out to me. I'm glad it was noticed, though the bad thing is Goody told me before we started to leave not to forget it. Doh!
