Title: On site proposal
Post by: groomporter on September 10, 2009, 10:46:31 PM
Our unofficial foster daughter got engaged second weekend. Her boyfriend arranged for the Dregs to figure out one of her favorite songs and he started dancing with her and got down on one knee half way through the song...

Yup I confess I get a little teary over it, she's been helping us since she was like 14, she's  the daughter of the Gypsy who used to lead one of the MNRF queens around "hypnotized" with a crystal ball. Set the bar pretty high for anyone who wants to steal away any of the other gaming hall girls.  ;)

Huzzah and congrats!  He seems an attentive man to make such a show for her affections.  Here's to years of happiness for them both.

I'm joining the teary group. Congrats and a heart-filled Huzzah to both and many blessings to them as well.

Been kinda fun to watch since she's the closest thing we have to a daughter (She even has the same last name as me) he asked us "permission" first (along with her bio-dad and step-father -he covered all the bases) since he mother passed away a couple years ago. He's a good egg and was a big help last year hawking, or packing up in the booth at the close of the day when he was off duty from his actual gig at the time.
