As suggested by winterland, here's a topic of where MNRF R/F folks work on site.
I manage/hawk at Seventh Sojourn Soaps (booth #727) which is in the narrows near the Bare Stage. Nikita is one of my hawkers.
So where is everyone else?
Mac's Pub (Sundays only). Saturdays I play :)
Last year I danced for Terpsichory
This year I worked the first three weekends at the stocks
Street Character :)
My shop is 228. :) Near the front gate, in the middle island.
Last 10 years I was the Dragon Egg guy. Now because of extenuating circumstances, I'm a free agent...
Bacardi and I are at Foaming Stein Pub!
I am the 2nd Pubmaster, full of beer wenchy goodness and he is my fabulous hawker ;D
Foaming Stein is located across from the special events pavilion and the joust track, we are just a hop skip and a jump down from GP's shop and the main mead booth..
I am a member of Cigany.
I can be found:
Drumming for the Opening Gate Gypsy Jam in front of Bad Manor.
In the parade just behind the dancer(s) with wings.
The Feast of Fantasy shows(Cigany!!).
Outside front gate at 4:30 doing another Gypsy Jam.
The Smoker.
wondering around aimlessly.
Nikolai
I work at "Willing Soles", aka "Heart & Soles", shop #139 over by the Legend Stage, with Marietta Graziella, Nyteshade, and Noble Dreg.
I don't think you could legitimately call what I do 'work.'
;D

I'm there often making Escherblacksmith raise an eyebrow in puzzlement.
I'm with the commedia troupe at the King's Arbor stage and I work front gate at the end of the day.
Papa Bear is in that overhead shot of the Fest grounds.
yeah, I don't know how old it is . . . I got it back in 2007, I would assume it was a year or two old. I got it from someone here, but I don't remember who, and it was on the old boards, so, there you are.

I think it was back when we were playing around with a possible better option than the map in the program.
I am at New Pterodactyl Leather ( hey DB if you have a pic of me could you put it up on my snap shot it never works for me? )
I sling beer at Foaming Stein on Saturdays with my wifey (Synn), Muffin (2nd Boss Lady) and Bicardi (male bench dancer) ;D
Might have to make do a tour of the RF workers next time we hit the Faire. Maybe this Sunday.

Speaking of where I work I would like to tell you all a story I was reminded of.
My very very first night with Safety Services I was friend with this girl. I shall call her simply A. On the very first Johnny Cash night, later dubbed HELL NIGHT, I offered her my tent to crash in and took her keys so that she could have a fun night but I knew she wouldn't do something stupid.
She did something stupid. A got very very very VERY drunk. There was a storm and she panicked about her kid being with the sitters during the storm. I was about 3 months pregnant at the time and while I understood, I could not allow her to leave. I informed A if she left I would call the cops. A threw me down to the floor, grabbed her keys and ran out the door and into her car. We jumped in our vehicles blocking her exit onto CR 41 and we called Scott County. Scott County arrived, they said they would let her go since she hadn't left private property yet and she misheard and freaked. She made FAR more trouble for herself and ended up in jail. She still to this day blames me. We obviously are no longer friends.
My friends now I ask this of you. If you are staying after hours please do for me the following:
A) If you intend on going home, limit your drinking or don't drink at all.
B) If you accidentally get too drunk, come to the SS office and I will make whatever arrangements I need to to find you a safe place to stay or a ride home.
C) Pre-emptively give me a phone number of someone I can call for you in case you cannot drive.
D) Give me your keys.
I do not want to lose more friends for doing my job. Further, being security IS my job and sometimes I am a little b*tchy about it. If you are not supposed to be there after hours you need to not be there. I will not make concessions for you, I won't let it slide. I will make you go home. It isn't personal it's business. Same goes if you are caught doing something stupid. You may be my friend but I also have to protect you and the site and I can't do that if I'm being wishy washy. Please Please Please do not take my job personally.
Love you all. Be safe...the party weekends are coming...
Sincerely
Nessa

This is one reason why I totally love and respect you. It's a hard position to be in but you're there. There's no reason to take something like this personally especially when it's about safety. Thank you for keeping us safe. Even from ourselves.

Even from ourselves.
Or perhaps
especially from ourselves in some of our cases.. :)

I will echo this because I have been on that end of things as well. In fact in the above mentioned incident, myself and two other SS crew memebers were at the back gate. She almost tried to run us over in order to get out. I was a friend of hers as well.
Safety Services is what the name implies. They are there to keep the rest of us safe and that is the mentality they take. They make every effort to do so. But they cannot help those who are unwilling to be helped, or have the mentality that SS are their enemies.
Party, but party safe. Party smart.
As mentioned, I hawk for 727 in the Narrows, and I SO love Nessa! Rockin' on sweet lady with the most awesome mad problem dealing skills!
Hey all, my first post here. ;)
Anywho, my girlfriend and I sling beers at the BLT pub. It's our first year and we love it! This past weekend we set a record for our pub for most kegs fried in a single day. I think we helped quaff a few ourselves. ;D
I also happen to be a photographer. You can see my stuff on my site at Fine Image Photography (http://korylidstrom.smugmug.com). For a direct link to my Ren Fest gallery, check here (http://www.fineimagephotography.com/Fine-Art-Galleries/Minnesota-Renaissance-Festival/3497006_HvwbF#197140496_Pikqo).
See you out on the playground this weekend! :D

Welcome to R/F.com, NugBlazer! Be sure to introduce yourself when you see people wearing the R/F pin!
Speaking of which, I need a pin!
Yeah, I guess I need a pin, too. How do we get 'em?
R/F pins <--------- get'em here!
I'll have a few with me at fest these last couple of weekends. Just track me down!
I work in the background, for the most part. Amazing how bright red can be so very invisible.

I am a cast member often found on the streets. You can also see me at the Royal Navy Experience where we do a naval combat simulation (that is a simulation NOT a stimulation...family show!).
I need two DB...backs broke off ours and they reside in the dust of fest I fear
